“Best Yellowstone tour! Personalized service and great guide!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013 via mobile

I was really impressed with our tour to Yellowstone with Jackson Hole Eco Tour Adventures. We left from Teton Village and I was a little skeptical about what we would be doing for 12 hours. We were lucky enough to get Matt, who kept the three of us girls entertained for the entire time. We saw a ton of wildlife (elk, moose, osprey, eagle, bison, antelope, deer, etc). He came prepared with a spotting scope and binoculars, while other guides were just pointing to animals in the distance. After seeing some of the other tour guides, we were super happy to have someone who had a sense of humor and was a lot of fun. Matt is super knowledgable - he has a degree in Wildlife Biology and was a wealth of knowledge about Yellowstone and Teton National Park. He even came with slides on his iPad to teach us about about geothermal principles! Overall, the tour was perfect to hit all the highlights of Yellowstone in one day, and we got the added benefits of getting a mini tour through Teton Natl Park. We also appreciated the fact that we were able to be flexible on our tour depending on our interests, and Matt catered to our group's priorities. Ask about the ice cream at the lake store!

Thank you so much PDX_Love2Travel for sharing your experience on your Yellowstone Eco Tour. Matt is a wonderful guide and we our very lucky to have him as a part of our team. Yellowstone is a full day tour but is filled with geological, wildlife, and scenic highlights of the park the entire duration of the tour. Everyone on the tour gets their own pair of binoculars and we have spotting scopes to better view the wildlife. We appreciate you touring with us and hope to see you again in the future.

Cheers,
Eco Tour Adventures

“Great excursion.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

We booked an evening tour with Eco Tour and Chris (our guide) was great. The weather was warm and we did not see a lot of animals as they were waiting for cooler temperature. We did manage to see a herd of Bisons with some calfs, a couple of elks including a big adult male, a few deers type animals and after lots of time and effort from Chris a huge moose that was feeding himself on the bank of a river. That was the "piece de resistance" for the evening.Chris's knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area was second to none and she was a delight to listen to. She had snacks, water and sodas for us which was very well appreciated as it was a hot day. I would highly recommend Eco Tour for a wonderful activity.

“Brilliant experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

We spent 2 great days with Benj touring Yellowstone and Grand Teton, with the French press, snacks and the bio-fuel SUV. The best part was his knowledge and determination to show us the best of both National Parks. He was determined to show us a wolf near its den (through the field scope), moose and calf, bears and more. We were lucky enough to experience two bear jams in Yellowstone. Absolutely a brilliant two tours and worth the money to get an expert's view. Well done.

“Great wildlife tour!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

My husband and I recently took a half day wildlife tour in the Grand Tetons with our guide, Taylor. We saw plenty of wildlife including a Black bear, elk, antelope and other animals. What made the tour most special however, was the wealth of information that Taylor shared with us. He is well educated and passionate about the wildlife and was able to share so much interesting information about the type of species, habitat, environment, history, etc. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip.

“Great experience for parents and teens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

We did a four hour tour in the evening with Matt. It was great! I can't recommend this activity highly enough. We did it the first full day we were in the Tetons, which was a good idea, because it helped orient us to the area and we could ask a lot of questions about what to do. Matt answered everything and gave us lots of wonderful advice about what to do and where to go, as well as of course filling us in on the geology, flora and fauna of the region. He was so nice and fun. We felt more able to figure out where to hike on our own after the tour and would never have seen so many animals (elk, deer, bison and a moose with baby) on our own. We also saw beavers and birds. Great trip. The organization is very nice and easy to deal with. They also picked us up at our condo which was very helpful.
