“A fun evening that was a hit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2011

We arranged for an outing with Bar-T-5 with kids and friends from Paris France. It was perfect. Our friends from France loved every moment of it - kitch and all. The food is good - not "slop" as one reviewer described. You are not going to get Morton's or Ruth's Chris steaks on a family covered wagon cookout - and the food was filling, hot, and tasted good. I wish every company in America would train their employees like the owners of Bar T 5 train their staff. All of the employees, mostly young men and women in their early twenties, were genuinely pleasant, friendly and helpful. A great night with songs and jokes - I recommend this highly, especially to kids. (When my youngest daughter's allergies acted up being close to the horse - our driver searched for and found Benadryl for her - TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE)

“A good family activity”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2010

The bar-t-5 was a good family activity and a nice western experience, especially for kids. Everyone got a kick out of riding the covered wagons. The cowboy/indian fights were hokey but entertaining. The food was sort of abysmal slop, but like any dinner show, you really don't come for the food. The show was entertaining and the music was good. Jokes were corny. The people who work there are very nice and the owner is very attentive making sure everyone was enjoying themselves.

We really enjoyed the wagon ride, dinner, and music. The humor was non-stop, staff very friendly and courteous.

“The BEST part of our trip to Yellowstone”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2010

We planned a week long trip to Wyoming staring out in Casper, going up through Cody, into Yellowstone and finishing up in the Tetons. It was overall a really great trip, one of the highlights though was the B-T-5 Covered Wagon Cookout. Although the food wasn't 5 Star, as you would expect, it was SURPRISINGLY VERY GOOD ! The entertainment was outstanding. You knew that the entire ensemble truly enjoyed entertaining everyone. The cowboys and Indians, the singers, the entire staff really made you feel like you were taking a trip back into the old wild west days of Roy Rogers and Gene Autry. I would certainly recommend the Bar-T-5 for both young and old alike. It was also reasonably priced.

“A fantastic time for the family!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2010

We just got back from a dinner trip with Bar-T-5 with our kids. The experience was one of our highlights of our trip to Jackson/Yellowstone and the perfect way to cap off a day of hiking in the Tetons.

As others have noted, the trip includes about a 15 minute covered wagon ride, an all-you-can eat dinner of BBQ chicken, roast beef, beans, salad, and drinks, and desert/coffee/hot chocolate. The show was a lot of fun, they had plenty of opportunities for adults and kids to get involved. The dining area sits in the Bridger-Teton Forrest, and the open air dining pavilion features heaters on the ceiling. They also provide blankets if you get cold, and blankets for the return trip.

I would highly recommend this attraction to anyone in Jackson, the story behind its founding is worth reading as well.
