“Perfection!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2014

Aman Hotels does it right!!!! From the first greeting at the door to the sad last goodbye, Amangani staff knocked it out of the park!
The property itself is so unique. Beautifully sited overlooking a panaramic 50+ mile view of the valley and Tetons; this place takes your breath away. Very Zen inspired architecture with attention to use of materials that mirror Jackson Hole's natural personality. Not a new property but well maintained and kept in top-notch condition. The pool is superb and peaceful.
Service is impeccable. They know you at anytime by name and you are never left to feel that you are in need of anything.
It is an expensive property but they make it worth an extravagant visit. My partner and I hope to return again soon and visit other Aman properties. Aman is Amazing!

Views are great. Service just ok. Had to call for newspaper first day. Second day had to call and it never came although promised. Food ok but not spectacular. Place is a little tired and for the price per night over 1 k) one expects a lot more. No real positive surprises (eg chocolate on pillow at night) We've stayed in much more satisfying places for about half the price. Will not return.

My husband and I traveled here in search of beautiful weather, gorgeous views, hiking in Grand Teton National Park and when needed.....relaxation. From the moment we were picked up at the hotel by Eric until the moment we departed, we had an incredible experience at Amangani. If you are looking for a wildlife adventure tour (a must!) go with Jared. We loved seeing the bison, elk, black bears, etc in their natural environment. We learned so much from Jared and other other tour guides. Beverly (lovely) took us up to the aerial tram where we hiked and saw so many marmots and majestic mountain peaks. Brandon took us to Yellowstone and he was such an intelligent and kind young man. There are no words I know to describe the beauty and the vast wilderness that we were in awe of. If you are looking for tranquility then go to Amangani. We stopped by the Four Seasons while we were in Jackson. It is a beautiful hotel that offers more if you are traveling with children and want more of a lively feel. The Four Seasons does NOT have the views of Amangani. We loved our wrap around patio that looked over cattle ranches and onto the Tetons. We had almost every dinner on our patio... the view was priceless. If you are looking to "be seen" go to the Four Seasons. If you want luxury, magnificent service and warm and gracious hosts then go to Amangani. MY ONLY issue would be that with a luxury hotel, you are going to be around pretentious, label conscious and superficial guests. My advice, is go to Jackson, enjoy everything this lovely place has to offer, but leave the attitude behind you. RELAX & ENJOY

Room Tip: Shoshone Suite #8 views and patio are truly priceless

This is a wonderful place.
The staff was fantastic.
The views phenomenal. The food was very good - almost great.
The rooms are beautiful.
The bill was large.
We are looking forward to trying other Aman resorts.

What a spectacular experience! The stunning architecture will catch your eye immediately. Then, the first impression from the staff will be another very welcoming moment. They are all friendly, sincere, and possess the "right stuff" from a service point-of-view. We were duly impressed. Make no mistake, Amangani provides some of the finest experiences ever, but does come at a price. The real measure is value. Only 40 rooms, and impeccable public spaces. The view from the pool is not to be missed. Top of the top!

Spent our final two nights in Jackson at the Aman. The location is extraordinary, and the rooms well presented with balcony access, but for the price you're paying I couldn't help noticing a few niggles. The bed was on the smallish side and low to the ground, so doesn't make the most of the incredible view. The food was good but not exceptional and it took a couple of attempts to work out exactly what was included in our half-board deal (it turns out everything on the menu, which is good). It was fine for a couple of nights, but it would be a shame to miss out on Jackson itself or have to spend lots of time traveling to the town if you were here longer. The staff were very professional, but having spent the first half of our trip at the Rusty Parrot I couldn't help feeling the service lacked some of the friendly charm. All in all a great hotel, but I'm not sure we'll be back for the price.

Stayed at the Amangani for 5 days visiting Yellowstone, fly fishing, hiking and mountain biking. Everything from the food, to the service to the concierge were simply fabulous. We ate at the hotel's restuarant a couple of times and found the food to be excellent although the menu was a little limited. The spa and Pool were first rate and the staff could not have done more to help us.
