“Teton Science School Sunrise Expedition”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

My wife and I usually visit the Tetons in the fall but decided to visit in late April for a quick mini vacation. We decided on the Teton Science School sunrise 4 hour Expedition on April 28 2013.
We were picked up at our hotel the Lexington Inn in Jackson by Natalie at 6:30 am.
She toured us for 4 wonderful peaceful hours as we were the only ones touring that morning. Natalie was very knowledgeable and a delight to be with. We would highly recommend her if you get the chance,

We saw 5 playful coyotes , big horn sleep, elk, buffalo, moose and I think a flicker bird. We saw a baby buffalo with its mom, maybe a couple days old, and a baby moose with its mom also.
Took lots of pictures and had a great time, even got the flicker in a tree.

Would highly recommend this tour!!

Thank you for reviewing your expedition with Natalie. You were fortunate to see our first calf Bison of the 2013 season. I am glad you enjoyed the morning with Natalie. Her personality and knowledge are sure to make a pleasurable day. Thank you for mixing up your vacation schedule and joining one of our spring expeditions. We hope to see you again, spring or fall. -Jared Baecker

“First class tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

This 4-hour tour was by Brad Cole and he was excellent, very knowledgeably, provided the binoculars, so enjoyable and could answer any question we had. He shared so much about the wildlife, seasons, their environment to each other. He showed the utmost respect for the animals and you could genuinely understand his passion. We viewed elk, buffalo, sheep, moose, 3 grizzly. We are looking forward to a 3-day tour next year. We applaud Wildlife Expeditions and Brad Cole.

“The Day Long Wildlife Tour Made Our Trip To Jackson Hole, Wy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful day! Brad was an excellent tour guide. We had a private day-long tour through Jackson Hole, WY and the Teton National Park. We saw Moose, Herds of Elk, Herds of Buffalo, Deer, Big Horn Sheep, a Nesting Bald Eagle, Swans, and many more local animals. We ate lunch at a local wildlife museum, and it was wonderful. The animals came so close, which made for great pictures. The day will never be forgotton!!!

Alright, another great review. Biologist Brad Cole spends well over 200 days a year tracking the wildlife of Jackson Hole. His experience and history in the valley is hard to surpass. We are really glad that you enjoyed your visit to the National Museum of Wildlife Art. I hope the photos from the trip keep your memories alive until your next visit to Jackson Hole. Thank you for choosing Wildlife Expeditions. -Jared Baecker

“Highlight of my trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

We had the perfect Easter Sunday, THANK YOU! We started our day with sunrise service at the top of the gondola then later we spent the afternoon touring the Tetons with Sarah. We saw cayote, elk, big horn sheep, 12 moose, buffalo (in the distance) and other birds that I do not remember their names. Our children are 8,7 and 5 and I am not sure who was more excited: the kids or the parents. People probably think they can drive through the elk refuge and have the same experience, not a chance! Sarah explained every aspect of the wildlife, their migrations, their habits, the food they eat, where they go in the summer, when they loose their antlers, the mating of the big horn sheep, etc. Sarah's excitement and knowledge was captivating. I lived in Colorado and California. This is my third trip to Jackson and I would take this expedition again. Seeing the actual mountain school and museum was awesome. Cannot thank you enough, Sarah!

WOW!!! I am not sure who was more excited about this trip, Biologist Sarah Ernst or the guests. This group really made a great connection. That is the goal of Teton Science Schools, connect people, place and nature. Sarah, outstanding job. I love the photo of a shoeless biologist getting kids excited about being in the out of doors. Thanks for the wonderful review. We will be proud to share this amazing ecosystem with you again. Thank You, Jared Baecker

“Decent way to spend a morning”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

We schedule our trip with Teton Science School through the concierge at our resort, Hotel Terra. We were looking for something to do for a half day while the other half of our party was getting into town. I have seen a lot of the wildlife in Jackson, but we had some people from New York with us and they were excited to see some of the animals that they never get a chance to see. We saw elk, buffalo, deer, and antelope. Our tour guide was nice and had a lot of information for us. For me, if I was traveling with my family or by myself, I would much prefer exploring on my own because in these tours you often stop at things that you have no interest in seeing but the people with you have not seen before (understandably). You also might hear a lot of information that you already know, but again, the other people in your tour have not hear. Overall though it was a nice way to spend a morning while we were waiting for the other people in our group.
