We took an early morning tour and since we were the only ones, my granddaughter and I, we were able to choose what we wanted to look for . We had been very lucky in in Yellowstone to have had two great bear sightings, so we chose to first look for moose although my granddaughter desperately wanted to see wolves. We went to a spot by a river and almost immediately saw a moose rather close who didn't seem to mind our intrusion at all. Since we were so lucky and had the resst of the morning, we chose to go in search of wolves. While we didn't find any, we did hike to a lovely spot and saw a number of other wildlife. It was a very special morning. The scopes with tripods were great, our guide was outstanding. I wouldn't consider another tour compqany; they are a profit-generating extension of a science school; not at all commercial. We were picked up and returned to our hotel; water, coffee and snacks were provided.
