This place is reasonably priced, in a great location close to everything, and the service is great. The hotel is very nice. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The Wort hotel is a one of a kind gem. Our family of five stayed in the Teton suite which is actually two adjoining rooms. The decor was western but not overdone. The hotel is extremely clean and well-maintained. The location in the center of town could not be better, and it is walking distance to everything. The parking lot for the hotel is only a short block away, and after unloading our luggage at the front door, the walk was really not an issue at all. The concierge could not be more helpful! this is one of the nicest hotels, in one of the nicest places we have ever been.

Where to begin....Three days before arriving I received a call from the hotel - oh no, what's the problem - well, they were calling to see if they could assist with any upcoming plans before we arrived - dining, activities, etc. Now that's a first !!! That customer service set the tone of our visit. The hotel itself is one block off the main square, historically beautiful, the friendliest of staff (everyone) and convenient parking. Our 2 queen room was HUGE, comfy beds with the largest bathroom I think I have ever had at any hotel ! The Silver Dollar Bar was hopping on a Tuesday night with live country music and a fun crowd and then quiet on Wed night (rodeo night). Dinner at the Silver Dollar Grill was excellent especially the pork chop dish and house specialty, buffalo. Loved the historical photos lining the hallway detailing the history of the family and enjoyed the Mae West quotes in the Ladies room. A gem of a hotel not to be missed !

We had the Cowboy Suite at the Wort. The room is small, but the bed and bath are great, and VERY CLEAN. There is also a couch, desk and chairs in the room, and a dressing area. The furnishings are tasteful, and often by area artists. The hotel is beautiful, and the Silver Dollar Saloon and restaurant are a hallway away. All of downtown Jackson Hole is steps away. For breakfast, make sure you hit the Bunnery BEFORE the long lines..the pastries are amazing. It is a couple blocks from the Wort. We would stay here again.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the friendliness and professionalism usually found at wonderful boutique hotels. An upgrade to a junior suite was given with no problem and no extra cost. The decor was western elegance, modern, and the best bed on our trip west. The western art collection should be viewed by all. The location in Jackson is excellent. Even if you don't stay at this hotel, take time to visit. You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: If possible, ask for a junior suite.

Older hotel in excellent condition. Had to wait until exactly 4PM to checkin.
Rooms upscale and comfortable. Avoid attached Silver Dollar Grill, better choices for a meal. Parking is a block away!

I can't say enough great things about our recent six night stay at the Wort Hotel. My two sons and I used the Wort as our base to explore the area and left all the planning and coordination to the wonderful hotel concierge, Cate Rogers. Cate was outstanding and took care of all of our needs, including recommendations for dinner. The Wort is a perfect location with reasonable rates with a fun bar and cafe. One can't go wrong staying at the Wort and I am a discriminate traveler!
