“Pricey but nice hotel near everything downtown.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

This hotel is located a few blocks from Jackson Holes famous town square. You can walk from here to the bunnery which offers the best breakfast in town, although the Lexington does have a nice complementary breakfast. This hotel is very expensive even by Jackson standards. Rates are $200.00 per night and up.

The rooms come equipped with a microwave and mini fridge. Our suite had a separate living room, but would have been better served as a one bedroom. Lots of room and comfy beds. The property has a small swimming pool but you feel like your in a fishbowl. Glass windows...

The coffee maker is a keurig with several nice flavors. The lobby has some sort of pink lemonade, coffee and cookies as well.

Overall a very nice property, just a little expensive for what you get.

We had a spacious, comfy suite at the Lex. It was just steps away from Jackson Square, where there is all kinds of fun food and shopping. The staff was charming and helpful, and we welcomed the day-long coffee and lemonade being served, as well as the hot breakfast buffet included in the price.

When we arrived at the hotel, the lobby was filled with trapper items, photography, and pelts. Lemonade, coffee, and pink lemonade were there too. ^_^ The room was even better.

The beds were nice and big--so soft you were sinking in them!! ^_^ Only problem was a stuffed dog on the bed that costs $25. See troubleshooting tips for this in Room Tips. TV was an HD flatscreen!! No HBO, though.

Bathroom vanity area was luxurious. There was a big mirror, heated tile, and luxury bath products! There was also a mini fridge, heated tiles, and a Kuerig coffee brewer. Flavors of coffee:
* Eight o' Clock 100% Columbian: Good coffe!
* Green Mountain Coffee Decaf: I don't like decaf so I didn't try it. In the ice cream shop in Jackson, there is a wall mural that says "DEATH BEFORE DECAF".

Pool was the smallest pool ever!! It only went to four feet, and the windows everywhere displays you in a swimsuit. T_T

Laundry facilities were helpful but expensive. Wash was $1.75, and dry was $1.50. Soaps were s dollar each.

Overall this was a nice hotel, with easy access to many tourist traps in town.

We chose this hotel because it seemed a bit upmarket and had good reviews. First, a note about the layout - this is not one building, but several that are part of the same property. It appears to be a older motel-type facility. You check in and have breakfast at the main building, generally stay in another, and yet a third has the pool, etc. A tad inconvenient when it is cold and rainy. However the overall location is great, right near downtown. You can walk to most places in good weather.

We had a newly renovated "courtyard" room. It was lovely - well appointed, luxurious, comfy bed, and oh - the under-floor heating in the vanity and bath was delightful!! They did such a nice job with the renovations that we were sorely disappointed by the noise. You could hear people in neighboring rooms talking, and the noise from the road and people talking in the parking lot was especially bothersome. After doing so much to make it so nice, why not a little soundproofing?? :(

Breakfast was tasty, but there was not enough seating. They had a large group staying over that took up pretty much the whole area. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a seat, as did at least two other couples. Some of the people were just sitting there talking after eating, and even though they saw several others standing and waiting, they did not make any effort to get moving. While this is largely the fault of those individuals, it's a little bit the hotel's fault too - there is nowhere to sit and visit with your coffee except in the breakfast area (or your room). The lobby has only two chairs. At least the food selection was good and fresh, and the staff were very apologetic about the lack of space and running out of certain foods (which they tried to replace quickly).

Overall it was a nice place, but we were left feeling a bit short by the noise problems and the lack of space at breakfast. It was rather pricey at $149 plus tax, so next time we will probably stay elsewhere for a similar experience but at a better price.

Room Tip: Try to get one at the back of the parking lot, on the far side away from the road.

We've been staying here for three or four years & the property is very well managed; all the personnel are top rate. We have never had a problem. Good breakfast in the AM, good cookies in the PM. We will return!

This hotel was awesome, right in the heart of town close to restaurants and shopping. We recently stayed for 1 night and since it was not high season, we got a great deal on a nice room for a family of four. The lobby is very rustic, with a huge river rock fireplace with lemonade, coffee and fresh baked cookies. The room was very nicely decorated with a rustic, neutral decor, very inviting and clean. It was a very spacious room which included a separate seating area with a small fridge, microwave and 2nd large screen TV. The staff was very friendly and courteous, especially Elizabeth, who gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Included in the price was also a wonderful breakfast buffet with a variety of tasty choices such as scrambled eggs, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, and freshly made Belgium waffles, just to name a few. There was also an indoor pool and hot tub, nice place to relax after a long day of hiking in the Tetons.
