“Nice Hotel in a Perfect Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2012

We had a wonderful stay here when we came to Wyoming to see Yellowstone and Teton Park. We stayed at a mediocre hotel in West Yellowstone for four days prior, so it was refreshing to stay at such an amazing place like the Lexington during the second half of our vacation. The lobby is open and welcoming with complimentary lemonade, coffee, cocoa and chocolate chip cookies. The staff is friendly and attentive. They have a policy where they only wash towels and make beds every 3 days which is exactly how we like it -- saves resources and is less of a hassle.

We reserved a standard double with two queen beds and were pleasantly surprised to find it included a small sitting room with a second TV and couch. The kids watched the second TV so we could rest on the beds or read. The rooms were very comfortable and seemed almost soundproof. Our room was right next to the breakfast area and we weren't bothered by any loud noises.

The only downside was the pool is inside a small building across from the main hotel so you have to walk across the parking lot. It's quite small for such a nice hotel, but the kids still enjoyed it immensely.

The Lexington Hotel was a perfect home base for our forays into Teton Park. It's situated on the edge of town closest to the park which cut driving time. It's also close to the town square which made it easy to walk to dinner each night. Jackson is a trendy, upscale town -- be prepared for expensive restaurants, galleries and boutique shopping.

An older property that has been renovated with style, and is equipped with all the amenities you want. I feel this property is comparable to a newer Hampton Inn, or newer Holiday Inn. Free WIFI is available. Indoor Pool area is available, but it can get crowded if more than 4 families' kids are trying to use it at the same time.

One definite positive quality of your room is that I believe the walls are better insulated than other mid priced or value priced hotel properties. We heard nothing from adjoining rooms.

Great modern shower and bath, king bed with quality pillows and bedding. Room was VERY clean, and housekeeping staff is attentive. Large medium quality LCD tv is mounted on wall opposite the bed.

Front desk staff is knowledgeable about restaurants nearby, and hotel is located downtown, very close to the primary shopping area.

Breakfast, included in the cost of your room, consists of your typical free fare: coffee and hot water for tea bags, yogurt, some fresh fruit, breads and bagels you can toast yourself, a pancake cooker for batter set on the buffet, scrambled food service packaged eggs, some biscuits with sausage gravy set in a crock pot, and some microwaved croissants with ham and a little cheese inside (pass on these :) ).

Note that apparently the only ice machine is in the main building, and not available in areas convenient to all rooms.

All in all, adequate, but not necessarily any better than your local Holiday Inn Express, Ramada, or Hampton Inn.
Overall, this hotel is priced less than many other Jackson hotels, and provides a good value for those just needing a place to sleep while exploring the Tetons.

Room Tip: Rooms are dispersed through 2 or 3 buildings- so you may have to walk across a small parking lot to...

We only spent one night here on our way to Yellowstone, but it was a great place for us. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast in the morning was very adequate. Very easy to walk into town for dinner, shopping or just to have a drink. Would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. One helpful tip would be to go to the Lexington Hotels website and sign up for the rewards card, instant money off for your stay. I know we saved some money that way. Enjoy your stay in this wonderful part of the country

We just returned from a trip out west and our first stop was Jackson Hole WY. I had selected to stay at the Lexington Inn because it was central to the town square (1 1/2 blks) and the price was more competitive compared with the rest of the better places to stay. I previewed their website and was impressed with the appearance of their hotel and especially their rooms. Well, we were not disappointed! Everything looked just like the picture and it was super clean. The breakfast provided with the room was very good. I would recommend you stay in the deluxe rooms and request the 2nd or 3rd floor. I liked them over the courtyard rooms. Great service and and the staff was super friendly. Right on the same road the leads to the Grand Teton National Park.

Room Tip: Deluxe rooms on the three level unit are the best

Excellent location near ( but not on, which is a plus) the town square. Staff was friendly, accommodating and knowledgable about the area. I liked the summer outdoor seating area with couches and a flower garden- great for reading or just relaxing between excursions. Both the standard room and suite were comfortable and inviting - I was happy to return to the Lexington at the end of the day. Though I was there in the summer, I think the suite option would be especially fitting for a winter ski vacation.

We stayed at the Lexington during our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lexington. The front desk staff was so accomodating and knowledgable about Jackson. We got several recommendations on where to eat and what to see. Our room was amazing. It was newly renovated and gorgeous. Our bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows that should please everyone. I found it interesting that our room included a "charging station" for charging up all our cameras and phones. Breakfast was not the typical hotel fare. The pastries were fresh and delicious and the hot items included eggs, biscuts and gravy and ham croissants. Overall, I would say this was a perfect stay.

Room Tip: Our room was on the ground floor with an outside entrance. Perfect for unloading and loading your l...

My family just returned from a week-long vacation to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. I booked this hotel because of it's proximity to the town square, price and reviews. I am so happy with my choice. We were one block from the square and the hotel itself was SO cute.

The rooms were about what you'd expect from a Hampton Inn or Hilton Garden Inn. They were clean and very nice. We stayed in a room that had a little tv room when you walked in the door that had a door in between it and the main part of the room. The main part of the room had two queen beds with a mirror and sink area in it. Then, the shower and bathroom was in a separate part so that families could get ready faster.

I loved how the hotel was set up in a square with several areas for people to relax outside. There were adnorak (sp?) chairs and outdoor couches with tables and lots of cute art pieces around. The grounds were just beautiful, very well maintained landscaping. It was so cute that it made you want to sit out there and enjoy a glass of wine or read a book after dinner.

Also, the pool was a hit with our kids. We were visiting there from Orlando where we have a pool and pools are everywhere...it was really funny to see my kids get so excited that they had such a cute indoor pool. They swan every night after dinner, which gave us time to relax after a long day.

The other thing I enjoyed as a mom was the laundry room - I packed enough clothes for four days for everyone and the last night at the hotel, I washed all of our laundry.

Most importantly, I am a really light sleeper and have a hard time sleeping at night, but the beds were super comfortable and I slept great!

The free breakfast was good, they had water and lemonade in the lobby every day with cookies, great coffee - and free wifi. The staff were very friendly. Overall, this hotel really is the best choice I think in this area.
