We booked through Expedia and got a real deal. Upon arriving we were upgraded without extra charge to one of the condos with a small kitchenette (microwave, sink and fridge) as well as a washer/dryer (complete with detergent). There was a nice little patio area where we sat in the morning with our coffee/tea. Our room was clean and comfortable. There was a "Murphy" bed in the living room with a real mattress (as opposed to the type of mattress usually found on a pull out sofa), and it was as comfortable as the bedroom bed. There was plenty of hot water in the bathrooms. The walls were a bit thin, as our suite shared a connecting door with another room, but luckily for us, it was a family who put their kids to sleep by 10, so it never kept us up.
The location of the resort was perfect, a nice little walk to downtown but well off the main drag, so it was quiet and 'woodsy'. Every morning we would head down to the hospitality room and get our tea or coffee, and Deborah, the concierge, would help us book anything we wanted to do, recommend a great place for breakfast, or just give us advice about options we might not have considered. Every single staff person that we met was friendly, helpful and polite.
I, like some others, didn't realize there were renovations going on when I booked, and was disappointed not to have the pool available. The check-in service did inform me right away that the hotel had an arrangement with an indoor pool locally, so if you swim for exercise that option is available. It was a little busy with construction during the day, but at night it was quiet, and we were usually out having adventures during the day anyway. I see now that we got such a good deal because there were renovations going on, so if you are planning a trip to the Tetons in order to sit at a hotel then you will probably be disappointed. But we hiked, went on a covered wagon dinner, floated down the Snake River in rafts, took pictures, drove to Yellowstone, ate at some great restaurants, etc. As a home base, the Snow King was a beautiful place to stay and the service was excellent.

We are so grateful for appreciative guests who take the time to write about their experiences here at Snow King. We love to hear about individual employees here who provide great service like Deborah at our concierge desk. We hold them in equally high regard. As you noted, we are in the final stages of our renovation which we expect to have completed by July 1st. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you during your visit.
