This is primarily set up for winter use, caters mostly to snowmobiles from the upper Midwest who consider the top of Wyoming's Bighorn Mountains to be their Rocky Mountains, Bear Lodge is Rocky Mountain central for those folks. During the summer months they actually have an off season rate for you. The Motel section is where we stayed, it is very reasonably priced given the inflated prices common to this area during the summer tourist season in town to the West of the Bighorns, a welcome break for us. Nothing special about the rooms, at all, except the beds were very clean and comfortable. Plumbing worked, the old TV worked, there is no decor on the walls, but the place is staffed by the most sincerely friendly and helpful staff. The lounge and dining facilities are outstanding, the food very good to excellent and again the staff is five star. Did I mention this is located at the top of the Bighorn Mountains? The wildflowers were in full bloom, we saw elk, moose, and deer. I recommend you stop here for a few days, smell the mountain flowers and enjoy top notch service at a very reasonable price.
