We decided to stay in Cody before heading into Yellowstone. Out of all the other options in Cody, I liked this one because it was not right in the center of downtown and who can resist a room full of cowboy decorations? Even though this was expensive, our log cabin with one king bed was extremely clean and spacious. Everything looked brand new (even the awesome cowboy decorations my husband couldn't stand). The bed was really comfortable! The hot tub was pretty clean and there was a constant supply of fresh towels. Our breakfast was alright, there were hot biscuits and gravy and a nice selection of fruit. The coffee was pretty terrible (we might have become coffee snobs since stopping at all those espresso shacks though).

The setting is great. We rented 3 cottages and loved the experience. Petra and Rick were extremely helpful and friendly. Cody has some really good things to do and experience. We spent 3 nights at Cody Cowboy Village. Very good value. We will return.

Cody cowboy village is a nice, clean place to stay. We didn't use pool, but just note pool is extremely small, maybe 10 by 20 feet. Breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, fruit, cereal and coffee. We didn't eat the breakfast and we thought it would have consisted of at least a waffle maker and scrambled eggs. My biggest complaint - the bed mattress was extremely hard and sheets were scratchy. I felt like I was sleeping on sand. Perhaps mattress would not have been as uncomfortable had the sheets been a little softer.

We enjoyed our stay at Cody Cowboy Village in Cody, WY. The resort is very nice and clean, almost looks brand new. Owner takes great pride in his hotel. Our room was very spacious and clean. We had a wonderful continental breakfast in the morning. Owners even offered us wine glasses, opener, ice or whatever we needed. It was great! We did not use the pool area. Location was within walking distance of the rodeo, but we did drive to the downtown which was not a problem. Plenty of parking. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Room Tip: Any room would be fine!

We were thrilled with our short stay at the Cody Cowboy Village! Checking in was a breeze, staff were helpful and friendly during check-in & check-out! Rooms are lovely...keeping within the Cody Cowboy theme with all the modern amenities. Beds were comfortable, shower pressure great and rooms have a great little porch to sit outside and watch the stars or simply enjoy the veiw...everything was really just perfect. Pictures online do not do the property & rooms justice as the rooms are just so quaint and location is perfect...not right downtown in the middle of everything but within a short drive and close to plenty of other things to see and do!

The town of Cody is just adorable...great downtown area bustling with activity but not too busy, Plenty to see and do and close to so much! A really beautiful area. We would stay at Cody Cowboy Village again if (and when!) we plan another visit. Also, close to the dinner show and rodeo...you could walk if you wanted to! We checked out quite early so we didn't take advantage of the free continental breakfast but it did look good....I noticed biscuits and gravy,,,yum

The only thing that would've sent the visit over the top would have been to have small coffee makers in the rooms. There was free coffee available in the office (a VERY short walk from any room) - as well as ice - so, not an issue and wouldn't have changed how much we enjoyed our stay!

These are wonderfully decorated and comfortable "log cabin" rooms. It had a nice log cabin feel. We had a king room which was a duplex with another room but we did not hear any noise and the place was filled to capacity. The owner was very friendly and helpful at check-in. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room, if that's important to you. If you want coffee in your room, ask for a coffeemaker which you can take to the room with you. The lobby area is open from 6-10 and has coffee available there. There is a nice sidewalk to walk to the rodeo from this property. Definitely a must stay if you are in Cody.

We booked the 2 queen suite and were in awe of the place! We were able to park right outside our cabin and it was huge. Nice western theme including a cowboy boot lamp and wallpaper. The beds were so comfortable with great pillows too. Breakfast was good, pretty basic continental fare. We got coupons for the Cody Cattle Company upon checkin, it's right next door and was a great dinner and show. You are only a 5 min walk to the Rodeo too.
