“Great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013 via mobile

We stayed 5 nights at CCV and loved it! We had our daughter and 2 grandkids with us, and they spent a lot of time in the pool, which is really a great big hot tub. The breakfast was very plentiful and delish, especially the biscuits and gravy. We enjoyed our stay on the west side of Cody and will choose CCV when we return.

We had a one room duplex/cabin type thing. Very clean, new, nice bathroom. Fun little pool and hot tub. Location good for rodeo and brewery (though brewery not the best, though beer very good, just food a little over priced), but a drive to downtown. Good stop on the way to Yellowstone where we were camping.

We arrived here after some very small hotel rooms, so it was great to spread out in our one bedroom cabin with a nice living room and comfortable bathroom. My kids would prefer a pool to a hot tub, but the cuteness of the cabin, the extra space, and the atmosphere carried the day. Breakfast is fine to get you going and we found the front desk very helpful. The place is PRISTINE. You are mere minutes from the downtown strip. Be sure to go the Cody museum especially Buffalo Bill and the Plains Indians. We were in the back (so quiet) but it might be prettier to face the hot tub from your porch.

Room Tip: near the hot tub is prettier, but might be louder.

We arrived by car after 10pm but they waited for us (we had called). The cabin was nice and we parked right outside the door. Good breakfast and the inn was located right on the road to Yellowstone and close to the Buffalo Bill Cody Museum which is a MUST SEE PLACE spot to check out while in Cody. All together a pleasant experience!!!

Room Tip: A cabin in the back has a better view!

I was pleasantly surprised with our cabin duplex. They seem really fairly new and very clean. We didn't go to the rodeo but it's an easy walk. The spa/hot tub was good sized and cute with the fountain cascade. The main cowboy lodge with the breakfast was your usual continental selection with the addition of biscuits and gravy (chipped beef?) which I didn't sample due to school cafeteria trauma of my youth. The only drawback was the duplex set up as we could hear the family next door. If you are lucky enough to have quiet "neighbors" it won't be a problem.

We pulled into Cody later than expected on our cross-country trip. We found the cabin immaculately clean. We had a small problem with the pull-out couch (missing spring) and called the front desk. Within what seemed like minutes, the manager appeared to deliver a roll-away bed. He had been off site and was extremely friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the small but extremely clean pool the next morning before heading to Yellowstone. Staff let them go in early to cool off during breakfast.

We visited this hotel for one night after seeing Yellowstone Park. This hotels rooms are set up as duplex cabins. The cabins themselves are nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The whole establishment is very clean and orderly. The owners are friendly and helpful. We had a fun evening with cowboy dinner/music at the restaraunt right next door.Would highly recommend this hotel.
