When we arrived in Cody we found thatmost of the hotels where fully booked, the Days Inn being a bit further out of town had rooms for $90 a night. The hotel was just ok the rooms where not spotless but ok.
We went to the local Rodeo in the evening but found it very windy and cold, but having never seen one before we stuck it out.
The staff were very helpful and we got some hot chocolate to warm us up on our return which was very welcome.
The breakfast next morning was adequate with plenty to go round.
We found this hotel was ok for a one nighter.

So-So Hotel...Rough around the edges

The property is not very clean. I had to move a chair and it was obvious that the carpet underneath had not been vacuumed in a very long time. Also, along the edges of the other furniture and in the bathroom there were crumbs, dust bunnies, etc. So, great care is not taken to ensure a detailed clean.

Also, the wireless internet is very spotty at best. After 5:30 at night until about 10:30 in the morning it is all but impossible to get online. It was very frustrating to be in the middle of something and be continually bumped off line.

The staff has been friendly though. That is their saving grace.

The breakfast is very simple. English muffins, bagels, toast, doughnuts (they only order 12 each morning, so unless you are there right away, you'll miss out on them), bread for toast, cereal, juice, coffee. Nothing special, but does the job.

This may have been a nice place once but not anymore. It is need of a deep cleaning and much repair. The staff were not happy. The hot tub was drained. There are many printed signs saying "Out of order" on everything from the ice machine to the clothes washer, snack machine and other things that did not work. Don't expect to get much to eat at the breakfast. We had stale bagels and rock hard English muffins. They were out of milk and bread and did not get anymore. We paid $79 plus tax. Expected more for that price. Does not meet the Days Inn standards and the owners would not reply to my feedback at the Days inn Website. I would never return. Horrible.

  • Liked — There was not much of anything to like.
  • Disliked — Rude staff. Dirty yucky halls and room and hot tub drained
  • Tips/Secrets: — Run! Don't stay there.

Well for one, the hotel managers Terry Jesse and Tracy Sigford were very rude and cruel. They were nice and friendly up front at first but while I was doing laundry and standing around the corner from the main office I overheard them laughing and making cruel comments about my son who has mild mental retardation. I couldnt believe my ears. Now about the hotel the hot tub did not work when I arrived and I was not allowed to cancel my reservation with out paying for one night even though that was the main reason I stayed there. I was not informed of the tub not working before hand. They were doing matinence. The beds were old and very uncomfortable. Now while I was younger I was a housekeeper and I try to help others out as much as possible and so I made my bed only to cut myself on springs pertruding from the mattress. I personally do not undersatnd while the have southwestern motif in the mountainous parts of Wyoming but it was relativly pleasing to the eyes. Now I am not one to be cheap but this place was not worth the 64.00 a night. I would not recommmend this facility and I will never stay again. They do make good business, but if people only knew who ran it I think it would have an impact on there stay as it did mine. I would recommend the Americinn across the parking lot. I little more expensive but worth the money. You will not be dissappointed there.

Was disappointed based on other reviews. It was adequate, breakfast was average (bagels, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, toast and fruit). Several lights didn't function in our room. The hallways were smokey (we were in a non smoking room). The room right next to our non smoking one was smoking. Outside was cute, adobe style. Inside rooms looked very bare. AmericInn next door looked nicer and I would check that out before staying here again.
