My wife and I were on our way from South Dakota to Yellowstone and Cody was an excellent place to stay on the way. The Lambright Place was a wonderful choice for the evening. Mary (a Cody native, returned about a year ago) and Jim bought a very nice B&B/house and turned it into lovely place to stay. The rooms are very nice and adequate, but Mary and Jim really do make the stay special. They seem to enjoy their guests and will spend whatever time is necessary to make the stay enjoyable. Main street and restaurants, ice cream, etc., are a short 2-3 blocks away. Their recommendation for dinner, the Wyoming Rib and Chop House, was right on. Even better was breakfast. Besides what would have been a fine meal, Mary made a new "bread" recipe that turned out perfectly. Our only negative was, per Mary and Jim, that we didn't leave ourselves enough time to take in the local Buffalo Bill Historical Center, which to our surprise, was huge (passing it on the way out of town). By the way, the drive from there to the East entrance of Yellowstone, is a reasonable and lovely one.
