“Perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

I have been to more luxurious hotels (not many!) but I have never been to a hotel where every detail is so perfectly executed as the Ivy! I really would struggle to find a fault. The beds were supremely comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with high quality fitments and a walk in shower with excellent shower head. The decor was modern and tasteful. The toiletries were high quality. The room had a good sized fridge, an excellent microwave and the best Keurig coffee maker I have ever seen! The pool and hot tub were great with comfortable loungers about them and even the laundromat was complimentary!
I had reached a point of our road trip where I needed some rest and recuperation I certainly got it! Oh yes I forgot to mention that the staff was pleasant too!
I have remembered a fault! The fridge was a little noisy so we just turned it down at night. Hardly a problem!
The Ivy was a welcome piece of luxury and comfort!

Room Tip: Just go there!

Thank you for staying with us and the great review. We always try to make sure each guest has a wonderful stay. It is such a great compliment to hear how much you enjoyed our hotel and noticed all the details that we have in each room. Our upgraded amenities, beds, and showers are always a favorite among our guests. We are glad that you liked them just as much. If you are ever in the United States traveling again we hope that you will come back to Wyoming and see us again.

Very, Very Nice. Hugh room, all amenities, great service. Free coffee and tea 24 hours. Had dinner at their restaurant the first night, good meal a bit pricey. Guest laundry is free so I got that done. One dryer didn't dry so lost 45 minutes there. Otherwise everything was excellent. Location is a bit on the outer edge of town so walking to town may be a bit of a stretch for some.

We stayed for one night in September in a king bed suite; we had booked through the hotel website and had gotten a good rate. Extremely large and comfortable room with bed and sofa & chair, good size bathroom both of which are nicely furnished. Very quiet rooms, you cant hear much unless youre sitting on the sofa or are near the bathroom. The Keurig was a pleasant surpise and made a difference from the usual bland coffee in hotel rooms. Having a fridge is always good in warm weather for cooling water and the room also had a microwave which we had no need to use. With the room was a balcony but with the room facing the road I decided it was too noisy to sit out on it and get any real benefit from it. We didnt have either breakfast or dinner in the hotel restaurant but it looked busy at both times.

I would happily recommend this hotel for location and for comfort and would stay here myself again.

We booked at Best Western Premier IVY Inn and Suites at Cody on the main road.

Such a comfortable and newly refurbished hotel, with an exquisite elegant touch in bedroom and bathroom..

Trust us, we are French, sleep at Best Western Premium Ivy Inn and Suites Cody and eat at Irma Hotel wonderful tasty buffet, two good places if combined in that order.

Cody Wyoming is a great western town. An old town. So when a town like this gets a new hotel, look out. The room was great, the bath is beautiful, love the Keurig coffee maker, the bedding is the typical BW (a bit soft, but comfy). I liked that the guest laundry was FREE! The 8th Street at the Ivy, the bar and restaurant downstairs is a great concept, but they need some help on that end. I also liked that at the landing of each floor has a little living/seating area with tv and fireplace. I took my glass of wine and watched tv while my husband watched Monday night football in the room.

This hotel is very nicely built inside and out, and fairly new. The only issues I had was that the beds and counters were too high for some of my party members, and that there was no free breakfast. Every place I stayed in had free breakfast of some sort. But still, a nice clean hotel and close to Yellowstone. If you are taller than 5'-8" and plan to go out for breakfast, this would be a great hotel for you.

We stayed here two days in August and were very pleasantly surprised. We looked at various other options and decided to stay here, based on the location.
The frontdesk staff was friendly and helpful in getting us a good room at a good rate (we were walk-ins).
The room was perfect, fairly big, clean, excellent beds and we had a small balcony. We like to sit outside at night, so even though we faced the main road, it was nice to relax a bit. At night we did not hear any traffic, so don't worry about getting a room at the back of the Inn.

We didn't have dinner in the hotel, but we did have breakfast. The first morning we were alone, the next morning there was only one other table occupied. This surprised us, because the hotel was nearly full. And it couldn't have been the breakfast itself, because that was delicious and the waitress was very friendly!

The Inn is located slightly away from the busy main street in Cody. Which is what we were looking for. Just a very short drive away and you could even walk if you want to. The Buffalo Bill museum is within walking distance and the rodeo only a few minutes away by car.

It is not the cheapest place in Cody, but probably one of the best! We will definitely stay here, if our travels brings to Cody again.
