“Modern, comfortable, good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014

We only stayed a night in Cody but wish we had longer. Friendly reception, plenty of parking, clean modern rooms and a good restaurant. Located on the main street but pretty quiet with restaurants, bars and shopping close by. Be aware that the Buffalo Bill Museum ( a must see) is at the other end of town ,a quick drive or a 25 minute walk.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms were easy to access with parking close by.

We stayed here one night on our trip. We wanted to see the town, museum, Rodeo and visit a friend from our home town. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. We were on the second floor, and the only drawback was there was no elevator. They did have someone pull our heavy luggage up the stairs, but still.. When renovating the hotel it looks like they could have installed an elevator.
The restaurant was nice and well appointed. Breakfast was not included but we did eat there. All in all it was a comfortable convenient place to stay.

Our earth tone decorated room was clean and bright. The bathroom was bright, only had a shower stall (no tub), no clothesline, no fan, and the water pressure was low. However, the counter was large.

Lots of electrical outlets to charge your devices, a very large desk, free WiFi, high speed internet, and in the lobby, there are two free laptops.

There was a Keurig coffeemaker, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Standard buffet breakfast with hot and cold items, including eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and biscuits and gravy.

The hotel is about a mile from the Buffalo Bill Center and Sierra Trading Post.

Please check "Yes" if this review provides the type of information you like to see in a review.

Very friendly staff, great outdoor pool, very clean, comfortable beds, and perfect location. The hotel has their own resturant, therefore, does not offer complimentary breakfast which would have been nice.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2014 via mobile

Ok, so usually my wife and I stay at Marriott properties when we travel. We have been on the road and in hotels for the past 8 days from Las Vegas to Colorado, to Wyoming. We could not get a Marriott room in Cody as they don't have a Marriott here so we booked at the Holiday Inn Cody. To our pleasant surprise this place showed up every Marriott we stayed in on our trip for cleanliness, comfort, and most of all, Cistomer Service. They really know how to do it all here. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. We look forward to trying more Holiday Inns after this experience. Thank you

Typical holiday Inn, higher priced rooms, friendly staff, very nice rooms with modern bathrooms and roomy showers. Nothing wrong with this hotel, but never seen any free breakfasts there. This is probably better than the cabins on the facility even if prices are higher.

This was a nice location in Cody close to shopping and dining. Avoid the onsite restaurant at all cost. Food and service was horrible.

Room was nicely remodeled but the only access to the second floor was via some very steep stairs. Would have like to know when we booked or been able to request a room on the first floor.
