5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013 via mobile

Wonderful Inn and we had a fabulous stay. Owners Terry and Sondra are awesome hosts. Inn was spotless. Rooms are very comfortable. There is a shared bath but it worked out just fine. Breskfast was great!! Walking distance to center of town. Will stay again on my next trip this way. Thanks!

This bed and breakfast, just off the main thoroughfare in Cody, Wyoming is a delightful respite on a tour of the Yellowstone area. Sondra and Terry made us feel right at home, welcoming us into their beautiful home. We made use of every space, lounging on the back patio, feeling the breezes on the second story balcony and reading on the front porch. Not a speck of dirt to be found in this spotless home. The Mary Eleanor Room was just perfect for my daughter and I. Our hosts knew just where to send us to eat and where to sit at the rodeo. Next morning, they sent us off with a bountiful breakfast. Do not hesitate to stay at The Salsbury.

What a comfortable place to stay and the owners are more then help full in helping you find things to do in town. The B & B in very clean, the food was sooooo good! We enjoyed just sitting in the back patio enjoying the other guest from everywhere.

Room Tip: All rooms are very quiet at night.

We stayed in this lovely B&B for just 1 night on the way into Yellowstone and we wish we had stayed for 2..The Inn is a lovely period property on a quiet side street but just behind the downtown so its in a great position. Our room [cactus flower] was a little on the small side and we didn't have much room for our large cases [we were on a 3 week road trip] but I did know this when I booked and it was good for just one night. I would have one of the 2 front rooms if we had been staying longer. There was no problem whatsoever with the shared bathrooms .
Sondra and Terry were great hosts, We loved sitting in the back yard with them sharing a beer/wine while they gave us invaluable tips on where to sit at the rodeo and what to wear, both were spot on. It is a pity we did not have the time to sit out and relax on the front balcony but we were so pushed for time.
Stay for 2 nights if you can, Oh and the breakfast was wonderful !

We recently stayed here after spending several nights camping in the Tetons and Yellowstone. As has been said Sondra and Terry are very good hosts and the rooms are clean, comfortable and ours was decorated with a western theme. Since its just a few short blocks to the downtown the Inn makes a good base to explore Cody. While the 3 rooms share a bathroom, there are extra washrooms available downstairs, so even with a full house this was not an issue. Cody itself is well worth a stopover for a few days with its excellent museum of the West, Trailtown, nightly rodeos in the summer months and several other attractions. It is also a short drive into Yellowstone and a couple of hours up to the magnificent scenery of the Beartooth Highway.

This cozy B&B is close to town and is absolutely perfect for a stay in Cody. Owners Terry and Sondra were so knowledgable about all the perfect highlights of this town. We stayed in the Rillas room and it was perfect for our needs.
The breakfast meal and setting was so delicious and provided an inviting setting with the other guests. This is a the perfect place to stay!!

Room Tip: All rooms were designed and appeared to be comfortable.

The best feature of the Salisbury is definitely the owners, Terry and Sondra Dishong. They treated us like family, were willing to pick us up from and drive us to the airport, despite our extremely early departure time. Very helpful about giving us information about the area. They couldn't possibly have been more delightful.

Other impressive qualities about the Salisbury:
-Breakfast was a feast, well prepared and plentiful.
-It is only three short blocks from the main part of town, but somehow still felt like a quiet place to get away from the excitement.
-There is very little street noise at night.
-Features a lovely front porch, and second story balcony for resting, reading, having a quiet moment.
-Rooms have a television if you need one (I did not).

The beds are a tiny bit firm, which many people like but I am not quite used to. But, all in all, I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else if I were in Cody!

Room Tip: The Mary Eleanor room is lovely, overlooking the back garden/yard
