“Clean, comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

Stayed here one night on trip from Yellowstone headed to Mt Rushmore. Clean, comfortable rooms although a bit pricey located on the outskirts of town. They told us they would have smores in the courtyard but we were unable to get back in time to do that.

This hotel was for us the perfect choice on the outskirts of town and across the road from 'The old Trail Town' which was closed at the time but the caretaker kindly allowed us to roam through for a small donation. We booked online the day before and when we decided to stay an extra night for convenience discovered it was cheaper to book the extra night at reception ! The deluxe breakfast was disappointing, the dining area small and they need to replace the dining chairs which were too low for the tables. On the up side the rooms were clean, staff very friendly and the lounge area very inviting. The Irma hotel, Buffalo Bill Historical Centre, Cody itself and the east entrance to Yellowstone NP all a must see with easy access.

Thank you for your review of our property. We do have a great location being just across the street from the Old Trail Town and just down the street from the Cody night Rodeo. The chairs in the breakfast room do see to be a little too low and we will look into your sugesstion on getting some new chairs. Thank you for staying with us.

This was a great place to stay in Cody, beautiful room and very clean. Located on the western end of town, just off the highway and close to Yellowstone National Park. There are stores and restaurants in the vicinity, too.

Room Tip: Be sure to specify a pet or no-pet room.

We pulled into town and was a little unsure of the hotel that we had booked on line, but as soon as we were past the front door, we were no longer questioning our decision. It was very warm and cozy and the staff there was very welcoming. Nice location at the edge of town right before your drive into Yellowstone. We were very pleased with our choice.

Room Tip: We had the butch Cassidy suite and it was very nice.

Thank you for your comments, we do have a couple of speciality suties and the Butch Cassidy room is one of my favorities. We have one of the larges lobbies in town and many people enjoy sitting and visiting with friends and family.

We stayed one night. This is a great hotel for those of us traveling with pets. We loved the hotel, the ambiance, the room, and the facilities. Ample parking. Plenty of areas to walk dog. Great decor. Distance from town not a problem for us. Nice wide sidewalks allow for walks.
Two issues: breakfast is standard fare...not very good. Also, desk clerks are aloof.
We'd stay here again, although it is a bit pricey.

This hotel is clean, comfortable, decorated upscale Western -- welcoming with a staff that makes everything. Stayed there for 4 nights for a local event and could not have been more pleased. The luxurious conversation area in the lobby are a great gathering place in the evenings after dinner. Great showers! I would give it all five stars if it weren't for the semi adequate breakfast. They really could do better. And the breakfast room chairs are so low that the provide stools for those who prefer them. But - go to the Irma or Mo-Jo's for a great breakfast.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony & a fireplace.

Thank you for your review. We take a lot of pride in hearing from our guests and their comments about our facility. We have been getting some comments about our chairs being a little low to the tables so we will see what we can do on getting some new chairs. Thank you for staying with us.

We stayed at The Cody on our way out of Yellowstone. A bit pricey for the room for the overall quality. We would certainly stay at this spot again as it was still a nice place. We really enjoyed having a balcony and bed was comfortable. Not far from local restaurants.
