We had booked only one night here, and as soon as we saw the place, we decided to book a second night. The mansion is lovely, with beautifully restored rooms and public spaces. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a king sized bed, a fireplace, a desk, and a good sized bathroom. The amenities provided were very thoughtful, a robe and slippers for each guest, high quality toiletries and a hair dryer in the bathroom, and an iron and ironing board in the closet. There was even a basket in one of the dresser drawers with such essentials as toothpaste, a toothbrush, a razor and shaving cream, should you forget your own. Jim, the owner, was away on the first day of our stay, but he joined us for breakfast (after preparing it for us) on the second morning. He's a great conversationalist, and he entertained us with his stories . While it's true that you may not get the same interaction with the host as you would at a more traditional bed and breakfast, the staff is very helpful, and they gave us good suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. If we return to Cheyenne, we would definitely stay at the Nagle Warren Mansion.
