We were staying in Denver for vacation and decided to drive the 90 miles north to experience a real Bison Ranch and of course to see WY. We stayed in Cabin number 1, which was very clean, but had a strong odor of....? Hey, it's a Bison Ranch, and we weren't paying to stay at the Ritz!
We went on a trail ride (horses were nice and slow, lol) and took a bus tour of the Bison. Neat experience.
The Senator's Restaurant had a very authentic Saloon feel, and we both enjoyed our meals (he had a Bison steak, Ribeye I think, and I had a Bison burger).
The people that live and work on the ranch were so very very nice, and very hospitable. If you're looking for a 4-star hotel, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for authentic mid-west feel, don't mind "roughing it" a little, then you and your family will love this place.
I'd go again. ;-)
