If you are interested in the history of Cheyenne Frontier Days and Rodeo, this is the place to see it. They also have an extensive carraige collection.

“Yee Haw Rid'em Cowboy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2012

Parking is terrible. We parked 3 blocks away. I have no idea if there is paid parking closer to Frontier Park or not. First thing we all went to and was free was the Indian Village. I could of sat there throughout the day watching the colorfuly dressed, young and elderly Native Americans while they entertained us during their Pow Wows. Lots of food in the village, fried bread was everywhere and tacos. Under the grandstand they had food vendors and crafter as well. I'm not big into rodeos so that wasn't my forte'. the other 1/2 of family enjoyed the rodeo then we all enjoyed the entertainment.

“Frontier Days all over town !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

Haven't actually been IN the museum, but Frontier Days goes on all over town with lots to see and do. Primarily a championship rodeo, but parades through downtown 4 times during the week, FREE pancake breakfasts downtown 3 times, a great old fashioned melodrama at the Atlas Theater - complete with your villains and hero and beautiful girl tied to the railroad tracks (or in this year's case, a sawmill) , FREE behind the chutes tours of the rodeo, an Indian village, concerts and of course a huge midway and lots of crafts and food. And a favorite of mine - the best BBQ west of Kansas City found on several corners throughout town. We had a particularly great one from a couple at the corner of Pershing Blvd & Bradley. Lots to do in a nice little city.

“concerts great, fair so-so”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

concerts are wonderful, good acts, good timing, easy in and out. fair itself is just so-so and could use some better food vendors, more transportation.

“Nothing like the city of Cheyenne”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

Make sure you go out for the Frontier Days Rodeo and nightly concerts. This is a TON of fun and I plan on going back every Summer.

Great to go with friends, kids, significant other, or solo!
