The office is also the transient bus stop and a homeless person ate at the breakfast buffet the first morning of our stay. He ate for quite some time before getting on his bicycle and riding away. I guess that is better than wasting the leftover food, but I was not comfortable at this hotel. The room was not clean--with some sort of prescription medication pill cornered in a pile of dust & dirt behind the bathroom door. It was a pretty quiet place and the bed slept ok, but I would definitely not stay here again.

This was our first stop on our road trip and we found it to be quite clean, cool and comfy to get a good nights sleep in. The desk clerk had some problems with the room keys and continued apologizing over and over and after two tries, moved us to another room. Yes, the hotel might be outdated a bit, but it was great for what we needed it for......sleep!

They forgot to mention it is also a transient/bus stop. We did give them a fair chance and intended to stay until we got up to our room and it was absolutely filthy. The toilet was not flushed, the room smelled musty and there was mold growing on the wall under sink. We demanded our money back and went to the Holiday Inn.

Our experience was entirely satisfactory. We stayed an extra night as thoroughly enjoyed Cheyenne. The staff at Rodeway were pleasant and enormously helpful. Efforts are clearly ongoing to upgrade the somewhat dated facility. The very clean, comfortable room left my wife and I quite pleased. Extra marks for the honest effort, with success, to improve on what is offered. Everything considered, good value. Our visit was in April, 2013 - observing some critical comments here has motivated us to weigh in. We will certainly visit (from Canada) once again, and shall not hesitate to patronize Rodeway Inn at that time.

Outside is a bit run down and dodgy, with a busload of tourist that arrived were rude and obnoxious. Lobby is quite dated but the room is clean and nice (messy refrigerator) with a nice bathroom and good air conditioning. Good value for the room... breakfast was simple continental breakfast with bagels, oatmeal, toast, etc. Thanks for a nice stay. I'd grade it a B-.

Room Tip: We were on the side of the building but had no issues with noise.

This was a pit stop for the 4th of July. The room itself was o.k..definitely outdated. Pool working fine. Our neighbors were loud and didn't care (drinking wisky)..they said don't mind us,we're always like this-come to find out in the morning that they work in the hotel.
** Hotel employees should be respectful of guests and not disturb them... would not stay again

Perfect location to visit Cheyenne Frontier Days. Altho the hotel is a bit dated, the outstanding staff made it a pleasure to be here. The hotel operated an hourly shuttle to CFD and the driver took a personal interest in making sure everyone was picked up at the end of the night. There was always someone cleaning, sweeping, mopping at the hotel.
