we stayed two nights and found the accomodation very good if not a little quaint. The hotel entrance is a step back in time and its worth while to take time to look at all the artifacts the hotel has to offer. The owner Dawn was very helpfull with every thing inc getting us a booking at another hotel for later in our trip. We had booked the general sherman but up graded to the teddy roosevelt suite ,it was a bit dark another light would not go amiss.the rooms were clean and everyone we met was very helpfull. The food was a bit dissapointing but there are alternatives in Buffalo .We liked the town especially the cafe /shop opposite and the ride down thro Crazy Women Canyon--do not attempt unless you have a 4x4.It was good value for money would i stay again yes if in the areabut It could do with someone to help with the bags.
