Old historical church converted into a bar and restaurant. Good home made soup and chili as well as brats. Reasonably priced baked or fried fish special on Fridays.

As a resident of the local area I can't believe this isn't rated higher on Trip Advisor! The Brat House has no business being rated below Moosejaw, Paul Bunyon's and Pizza Pub. Those places are crowded tourist traps. My family and I love the Brat House. Although it has a large bar area, the Brat House is very family friendly. (However, my kids are out of the diaper phase so I'm not sure if they have a changing table in their restroom.) Their sandwiches, brats and pizza are all delicious! And if its a brat and a beer you are looking for then look no further! Plus it's open year round so if you're in town on the off season definitely give them a try.

It's a bar in what used to be a church. There is quite the history behind it, which was quite interesting. We sat at the bar, and were waited on immediately. Bartender was very friendly and attentive to anything that we needed. I had the jalapeno brat with their homemade Parmesan chips. The flavor of the brat was mediocre. Just OK. It almost had a freezer burnt taste to it. Hubby had a white brat. Again, just a mediocre flavor...almost a real porky taste to it. Too much porky taste. The chips were quite good, and were served with their homemade ranch dip, which was very tasty. It is just an OK place to eat at. Not sure we would return for the brats. Many people have raved about their Friday fish fry, so may want to give them another chance with that. Service was very good.

This is a bar, we were fortunate to be there for a late lunch so the crowd was small. The food was excellent!! Especially the hommade Parmeson chips! We had Brats and sat off from the main bar with the huge TV screen. Waitress was fabulous. Would go back many times!
