We were in a group of 8 and had requested to be seated upstairs. Was told there was nothing available so we ended up being seated downstairs in the front corner of the bar area. It was really a table that should of not been there for a big party as all the foot traffic was rubbing up against the people who were seated on the inside. Had all the bar traffic right behind us and was really noisy.

Our group had a variety of differant items and everybody agreed that it was not great, but was good. The only bad issue was one person ordered the 12 ounce Prime Rib Special, 1/2 of it was fat. He ate all the meat and cut away the fat. We all know that Prime Rib has some fat, but this was insane. When mentioned to our waiter Darren, all he said he was sorry. Being that they charge higher then normal prices, the owners should not be putting Prime Rib like this out.

As far as the service, our waiter was ok, but not spectacular.

We are local people living in the area, but we were disappointed in this place more so for the downstairs atmosphere. This restaurant is on the main street in the WI Dells and probably better left to the tourists.

We will eat here EVERY time we go to the Dells. Great atmosphere, very modern and welcoming. The food is to die for.... Beautiful presentation and delicious! Cocktials and wine list are spot on. The price was surprising - in a good way - we expected to pay double what we did. I am craving their food now just writing this review. We will be back!

When I made a trip to the High Rock Cafe I was absolutely stunned at how nice it was. From the outside, it doesn't appear nice, but once you get inside it is great! There's a bottom level, and a top level where people could eat. We asked to eat on the top floor and it was really decorated and you could sense the good vibe from everyone. The service was great, the food was somewhat unusual but that doesn't mean it wasn't delicious! It was amazing food!

Inventive fare done well. They have a sense of humor even on the menu. Funky-yet-classy silverware-themed decor. Attentive service. Interesting drinks. A good place for conversation. My pasta was one step yummier than I would make at home, and there was plenty of it. My sweetie ordered crab cakes for an appetizer. I don't usually like crab cakes, but these were good - which made me wonder about the crab-ness of them, but the sauce was really yummy. The meal was a little over priced for the quality of the food, but it was a good place for dinner. I'd eat here again.
