We stayed at the Glacier Canyon Lodge portion of the Wilderness Resort in the Dells for two nights. We had a two bedroom which was amazing! It had a full clean kitchen fully stocked with everything you could possible need and granite counters! The decor was beautiful and very "woodsy"! Most importantly the room was spotless! No dirty socks in this room! It had a beautiful balcony off the king bedroom, two bathrooms, and the second bedroom had bunks with a double on bottom. The living room had a great flat screen tv with pay per view movies above the fireplace, a sleeper sofa, and a murphy bed encased in beautiful wood. It also had two chairs. There was a 4 seat breakfast bar adn 4 seat table made of beautiful wood. Our room was fabulous! We were also near the elevator on the top floor which was a great location. We never heard anyone! The resort is very spread out and walking around was hard to do without the map (and sometimes even using the map we could not find out way). There were many areas we didn't get to on this trip. However, the shuttle service was easy to use and fast. You simply call from the designated areas and a bus is there within a few minutes to take you wherever you wanted to go. We tried the indoor waterparks only because it was too cool outside for our small children. The wave pool was strong for our 5 year olds, but our 8 year olds loved it! The Wild West waterpark was our favorite! There were a few slides closed while we were there. The family slides were perfect for us and my older son could ride everything. Some slides and areas were showing some signs of wear and tear, but not enough to worry about now. We headed to the Wilderness on the Lake resort to use the waterpark there on the last day. This waterpark is for the smaller kids. It was ice cold but the lifeguard did say they were working on it. There was a large section of mold on the walkway. It should have been taken care of! The outdoor infinity pool was beautiful and the tiny tot waterpark outside was very warm and perfect for a 78 degree day. It was the only one we used outside. There was something for everyone in all the different waterparks. The indoor climbing, ball shooting area was a lot of fun. The glow golf was good too. I do not think I would recommend this resort for the winter, only because you had to take the shuttles and going outside wet in the winter would be miserable. For spring, summer, and fall, this resort would be a great place to visit and I highly recommend it! We plan on going back soon!
