“very disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

First and foremost, I never write reviews however this one takes the cake. First of all the check in was quite the experience...they did not explain where our room was just recieved a text with the room number so you end up walking around forever trying to find your room. The room we got was right next to the lobby and stairwell....extremely loud...if you plan a trip ask for something away from any stairs it sounds like heards of elephants outside our room. Couldnt get to sleep till after 10pm and awoken by 630am. We will be spending the extra money next time and going to the wilderness which has become the favorite for us and the kids!

“Worst ever hotel experiance”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

I have stayed at trucker motels in better shape than this place. The newly renovated rooms were dirty. The bathroom tile floor was coming up and the grout was missing. The table and chair in the room looked like they came from a relic shop out of the 80's. The room keys rarely worked. Plus we were so far away from the actual Indoor Water and Theme park, that we could have stayed in a regular motel/hotel and just gotten a day pass for the theme and waterpark, stayed in a nicer room and paid less! Of course the waterpark had hundreds of people and was quiet small, the water was cold and the women's "Locker Room" was nothing more than a small bench, a few shower faucets and a bunch of bathroom stalls. The floors were very dirty and wet. There was no where to dry off! Not to mention they are stingy on the itsy bitsy towels for guests! The prices were ridiculous for drinks...but that could just be the Dells. NEVER WILL I TAKE MY FAMILY THERE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!

“An absolute disgrace to the Dells”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

Poorly managed doesn't begin to describe this cobbled together excuse for a "water and theme park". Apparently these guys also own Top Secret which is one of the poorest rated attractions in the Dells so it's no wonder things are crappier than ever at their hotel. Let's just start by saying our room was a run down 1960s motel "one of the many bought up by Mt Olympus" and they've done the cheapest remodeling job possible.. gypsy style.. the headboards are just wall paper, the floors are so dirty your socks turn black, pubic hair in our bed, crumbs on the counter tops. Just READ the other reviews.. nothings changed. You book a room online and when you think you're staying at Mt Olympus, WRONG.. they put you down the road at one of their ROACH MOTELS. We won't be back EVER. If you're thinking about booking here don't... look at the other places in the Dells that aren't run by idiots trying to scam every last dollar out of you. Super 8 is better than this dump.

“not worth it”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

We choose the cheaper route and stayed in one of the off site village, very very very disappointed beds were loud, and uncomfortable, no onsite staff really at all in this hotel, walls were paper thin you could hear the heard of elephants in room next to us! Now to the water park, water was freezing!!!!!!!!!! There were several children plus my own that had blue lips cause it was cold. My children are 5,3,2!!!! They wouldn't let anyone under 6 in the hot tub and only a few people at a time!!!!! Staff was rude and ran over the kids several times!!! The worst part was the kiddy pool area was the coldest you think with small children it would be warmer then the other pools!!!!!! Will not go back to the hotel will go back for the outdoor theme park and here water park.

“RUDE STAFF!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013 via mobile

Extremely disappointed! Staff was rude, customer service didn't exist. The whole time we were here, there were maybe 3 staff members that showed any type of personality. Most of the staff showed no personality and acted like if you had a question that it was a sin or something. I would never waste my money like this again. For what we paid a night, we would have been better off at a Motel 6!
