Best kept secret in the Dells for sure - with 4 passes to the Wilderness Resort, we saved about $400 and had a better time than when we stayed at the high end places like the Kalahari, Wilderness. You can walk right downtown to all the fun stuff and there's a convenience store a block away too for milk, ,etc..

You hardly ever even walk back to your room when you are at the Wilderness, so we didn't find the travel to and from that inconvenient. Plus with all the money you save, you can do the Ducks, Wizard thing, Ski show, etc. You don't feel like you have to stay at the resort the whole time to get your money's worth.

Room was clean, smelled good, looked good. Our kids swam in the pool one night - perfect size to have a "down" night - after being at the water park all day, what do you really need. The staff were very nice.. met the owners and they fixed my tv remote within an hour.

The only risk is that it might attract some partygoers with the lower price, but when we were there, they threw out a group of college students who were whooping it up... fortunately not next to us. At least they threw them out !

We will probably stay here again next year.

My son and I took a long weekend trip before the start of school. We stayed here and went to Wilderness. This motel was perfect: there is a restaurant right next door with decent breakfast. We enjoyed walking to the shops and restaurants along the strip from this location. Those needing fancy will not appreciate it, those looking for a good deal, this is it! Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, not a lot of outside noise, just heard running water from another room. There was no alarm clock which was unusual, there was a microwave and refrigerator in our room. I would have preferred a coffee maker, but you can walk to the office for free coffee.

Friendly Service! Rooms where good size! We stayed in the larger room! Can't beat the price and the passes to the wilderness! Will defiantly come back! Fields motel is great way for families on a tight budget to be able to enjoy the dells!

We stayed for two nights in a two bedroom that comes with a microwave and a fridge. Rooms are clean and tidy. You may want to bring extra pillows. Four passes to Wilderness is a great value. The waterpark is about 10 min drive from the motel.
