“WON'T BE BACK!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012 via mobile

Prices are too high for this poor place. We paid $75 per night per site and just feel like camping on the side of I94, cars noise all day and night, they must have a sound proof barrier or something at less. The pool is too small and only for little kids. Bathrooms: only 3 toilets and 3 showers, for that many people, seriously?

I was there with my family last weekend and foremost is too expensive for what you get,the "water park" is very small and no many features, the bed cabins very small too,I got bit by some kind of bugs or insects during sleeping I still have marks on my arms....well I can keep going on & on.

I will not go back to that place never.

Room Tip: Not here.I don't recomend this place .

We just came back from our Yogi bear experience at Dells and are already looking forward to our next vacation at this location. On the way back home we actually toured the Warrens Jellystone and noticed how Dells had more of a woodsy camping experience, and more activities specifically for younger kids with hay rides twice a day (we rode on every one). Warrens had bare spots of land without trees or grass and older activities more geared to teenagers.
Back at Dells, we were very excited when we walked to the lake for a scenic lakeside canoe experience and a first time fishing expedition for our four year old son. We made sure to go back again the next day as well!
We were also worried about the negative reviews but started our vacation with an open mind and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were wonderful with enthusiasm and professionalism. We really enjoyed a particular staff member named Dugas for his charismatic personality making the hayrides highly energetic.
We stayed in the Boo Boo chalet for four people, with three adults and one child...and next time will upgrade to a 6 person with all the suitcases and accessories we travel with. We were actually given a tour of some of the 6 sleeper challets and ranger smith cabins by a very helpful staff member named Sami, who was very pleasant and accomodating.
It is true that depending on where you stay the highway can be noisy, however our cabin was highly insulated and was not easily heard when inside (our cabin was one of two on the highway side).. We were surprised at how we forgot about it while we were running from activity to activity and meeting friendly neighbors. It is true that the pool is small for large populations however we stayed during the week and had plenty of room in the water areas.
We all agree that this was a wonderful family experience and are looking forward to our next family vacation at Dells Jellystone Park.

Room Tip: One tip is to book a higher person capacity then the actual number in your party.

We were there the first weekend in august and the campsite prices are too high for this campground (even for the Dells). They were full and it felt like a cramped parking lot. The campground is right next to I-94 (and so was our site) so the traffic noice was bothersome. It's clean but that's about all I can say. The "waterpark area" is for little kids. Otherwise, its just a small pool and one waterslide. We will not return.

We stayed at yogi bear august 12-15th. We staying in a cindy cabin for 4 people 2 adults and our 2 kids ages 3 and 5. It was a little tight but we made it work and had a great time! I was very worried because of all the negative reviews but was pleasantly surprised. It was close to the road and not I94 another main road right by our cabin but overall it didn't bother us much at all. The bathrooms were nice and clean and the showers were ok not much pressure but they worked. The kids activities were nice the kids had a good time playing mini golf and bingo. We are glad we stayed during the week less people. Over all a nice trip and we would go back.

We stayed in an 8-sleeper chalet for 3 nights. With 4 adults and 4 children it was a little tight, but it was nice and clean. The kids loved the bedroom with bunk beds. Full kitchen was nice and it was great to have a grill. The biggest disappointment was the outside area of the cabin. They are too close together and there is no room for the kids to play. Also, they just dump the ashes from the fire ring onto the gravel so everything gets covered in ashes from walking through it. We did not take advantage of any of the planned activities but did go to the pool which was pretty small. The little kids enjoyed the water playground but the chlorine smell was terrible. All of the staff members we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. A lot of the reviews say that the interstate noise is horrible, but the cabins are on the far end of the campground so we did not notice it too much.

This was a great experience! There was a limited view of the Lake from the deck of the cottage through the trees. The cottage was very nice. relatively clean and had enough space for our family of 7. The only issue we had was the refrigerator was running loud. For the Price and location, (down the street from the strip and walmart) it was a great choice. Will be booking again.
