The Location of this Hotel is great -just a short stroll to downtown. The river view is wonderful. The room itself, well-- we wanted a non- smoking room because I have terrible allergy to smoke. They took out the ashtrays and called it non smoking. But it still smelled like smoke and the room next door had smokers in it...there was no signage for non-smoking as there was on other non-smoking rooms. I woke with horrible sinus and could barely breath. We took a trip to the hardware store in town to buy room deodorizer and stick-ups. The dirty blue shag carpet was a turn off and the bed was so uncomfortable!! The water pressure in the shower was, I must say, awesome, once I was over being creeped out by the gigantic centipede in the tub. Yuck!!! They have a bit of a problem with mold in the room-on the bottom of the wall leading to the deck -and the plaster was falling off. The deck was nice to sit on and the pool was good although It is smaller. They have hottub and sauna also. My husband and I were the only ones in the pool during our weekend stay, which I enjoyed, not much entertainment value if you have children but if you want to get away from the noise of all the kids it is the place. Overall - it was ok, but, I wouldn't stay here again. I felt because we booked through expedia, they gave us the worse room (214) in the hotel, maybe the other rooms are better but we will never find out because first impressions last a lifetime, and we won't bother trying it again.

My husband and I stayed here in February. We stayed in their executive suite with a king sized bed and huge jacuzzi. We did not use our balcony because it was to cold out! The price was great, the staff were friendly, and most of all, it was quiet. I would say this hotel is great for couples who don't want to stay at a hotel full of kids. We had a slight problem from the room across the hall that had a bunch of teenagers staying with a mom. One phone call to the desk took care of that. We were most happy with the jacuzzi. Finally, we found a hotel that has a jacuzzi that actually fits two people comfortably who aren't tiny. We used the indoor pool, which was really nice, and again quiet! I am finally happy to have found a hotel that doesn't cater to kids. We are staying there again next week and are really looking forward to a relaxing weekend!

Our stay in this hotel was just okay. The room was a little outdated. Our biggest problem was that you had to walk across the street to go to the outdoor pool, which was shared with the motel across the street. Other than that, the location was great- we could walk to the downtown, and the view of the river was awesome. The deck was nice, too.

We recently returned from The Dells for a weekend getaway.Our $109/night room was very clean with oversized jaccuzi. We had a corner room with a view of the Wisconsin River looking up & down river.The bathtub/shower had wirlpool jets and a steambath. The room was large and quiet except on Sat. night when there was a Christmas party going on in the lounge. The resturant was closed for the winter but there are plenty of eating places in The Dells including The Riverwalk resturant next door with excellent food. The pool is small so if you're looking for a waterpark search elsewhere.
In warmer seasons, it's short walking distance to downtown with a nice walking path that winds along the river.
Overall it was well worth the price.
