where to begin? First, my husband works for a company that is part of a barter group some jobs that he does he gets these barter dollars or credit to use at other establishments that are part of the group. Dell's Beach Club is one of the establishments listed,so when he was planning our family get away he purchased some breakfast vouchers through the club for us and my sister who was joining us. Upon driving up to the parking lot we noticed only one other car bad omen #1, then a lady approached us with a flyer for the buffet (weird as we are already parking)omen #2, upon entering we noticed the floors looked dirty,we were not greeted as the host was on the phone and waited at least 5 minutes for her to finish her call, we gave her the vouchers and my sister paid for her daughter who is taller than the requirement and for our drinks which we had to tell the host what we each wanted. We were informed that the drinks were "one and done". A server came up and showed us to our tablewhere we had to repeat our drink order even though she was standing right there when we told the host. I took my 7 yo up to check out the buffet,the forks looked filmy and the selection was poor.I noticed my sister up at the omelette station getting ketchup from a big condiment dispenser,then the server took the dispenser away. When my sister returned to ourtable she informed me that as she was serving herself condiments the top came off the ketchup a bit and she lifted it up and a bunch of flies flew out! She noticed that there were fly eggs and maggots in all the dispensers!! We decided to leave and my sister asked the owner for her money back,she said the place was dirty and unsanitary as he was eating behind the line and because of the flies, he argued with her,said the doors are open and of course there would be flies. She kept trying to explain that the flies were in the dispensers and told him to ask the server,he walked away. We waited around and a "manager" came out we tried to explain to her and ask for our money back. The owner came back and told her to give us our money back all while yelling at us that his place was clean. As my husband and sister were dealing with the manager I was talking with the owner and he admitted to me that they "never check the dispensers" next thing I know the manager is threatening to call the cops!! Apparently when she found out we had paid with barter she scoffed and threw them at my husband! I was told my sister would not get a refund until my husband and I left the premises! I would maybe suggest this place to my worst enemy,but even then I would feel bad!
