We were very wary of staying here after reading the reviews. It was not as bad as some of the reviews. It could use some new stuff but it was fairly clean. Towels were thin and could be upgraded but I have seen worse. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Hot scrambeled eggs, sausage, and waffles along with other breakfast items. I was hoping they would have had a fitness area.

The floors and rooms were clean and everything smelled good. The bath room was clean though the tub could use some recaulking. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have found in any hotel I've stayed at. The TV's were old but functional. The room had a sofa, a second sink, a refridgerator, microwave, and hair dryer.The eating area down by the lobby was small but when we went down at 7:30 we had no trouble getting a table. There was only one waffle maker but there was also a buffet pan with hot sausage and scrambled eggs. The pool and hot tub looked nice but we didn't use them. I've stayed at other Comfort Inns and have generally liked them. The price was very reasonable, especially considering it included a hot breakfast.

BAD IDEA!!!



I booked 2 rooms with 7 ppl. For October 13, 2012. Had a horrific experience! When we got into our room and went to use the restroom there was FECAL MATTER all over the outside and inside of the toilet AND in our beds we found body hair (NOT OURS) and dead bugs!!!! I called Choice Hotels and spoke with Chrisopher Ref #7067207 about all this and he told me all he could do was pass it along to be reviewed and that it would be "addressed" when the hotel was inspected. At which I asked him to explaine how it would be delt with after the fact at a later inspection. At this point he tells me he can no longer continue our conversation because I was becoming agressive. I laughed and asked him how he expected some to respond having been in this given situation? He hung up! I am so aggrivated now that I actually am UPSET even more. Yes they did reimburse me for the two rooms, however, that left us to try and find a new place to stay at 7pm or drive home 3 hours. They were booked solid so could not even offer us another room. I would have expected them to find us new accomodations and cover the expense for us. But NO...We are all so disgusted with this epxerienc and feel as if Choice Hotels could care less about the quaility and comfort for their guests!!

We like the choice hotel group, and there are many similarities so the little things make a differfence--such as the availability of sugar free syrup available for the waffles. And ketschup available for eggs. And both hot eggs and cold hard boiled. This place seems to care about people.
The indoor pool was great, as was the room and location. When we're back this way we'll stay there again.
Why only four star? The housekeeping team had some omissions--nothing of great importance but it keeps another star off.
