Thank you for your review. I am glad that your family enjoyed their short time with us in the Dells. I also appreciate your comments. Yes, you are correct, that some of the bathrooms are small. This was a design from many years ago when the hotel was first built (nearly 30 years ago). Back then the bathrooms didn't matter and they put more space into the room itself and had only one bed. Since the Dells grew into a family destination, this hotel added on additional rooms. The rooms to the east of the elevator have a larger bathroom. This is sort of reflected in the price points and room selections. When you return to the Dells again, I encourage you to ask for the rooms east of the elevator. My experienced staff will be able to guide you in making a better choice. You may reference this reply when making reservations and they will be able to confirm by comparing your guest history.
We certainly want all of our guests to be most comfortable during their stay.
I am also excited to announce that we are getting NEW furniture this spring. We had begun this process last year by replacing all the TVS, bedding, some carpeting, and repainting. We also have new granite countertops and tiled floors. Excitiing for us! And we hope that it will be exiciting for our return guests too.
We are truly working on better sound barriers for our rooms and hallways as well. Without causing major construction we hope to have a solution within this upcoming year as well. Sometimes it is more the behavior of the guests around you. For that I will apologize.

I am sorry that your first night was not the quiet getaway you had expected. This hotel was built nearly 30 years ago and sound proofing may not have been high priority back then. We are working hard at finding a solution making the space between floors more quiet.
We host several sports teams and families every weekend and that often is the reason for the extra foot noise.
I am glad my staff was able to remedy the situation for you for your second night and I hope that you will return and give us another chance.
