Every trip we make to the Dells, we always stop at least once at Moose Jaw. This trip, we stopped twice. Both times, they were not real busy, and were seated immediately. It does get noisy because of the high ceilings, so be prepared for that experience. There are several taxidermy heads of wild game hanging on the walls, which is pretty neat, and it is done in a log cabin theme. Our first stop, I had the reuben on grilled, marbled rye bread. The corned beef was very, very tender and tasty. There wasn't a whole lot of sauerkraut though...kind of skimpy. It came with french fries or homemade chips. I had the french fries, of which they gave you a generous serving. Hubby and brother-in-law both had the 12 oz. New York Strip Steak. It was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the 10 glass beer sampler. My favorite was the raspberry ale. On our second trip, I ordered the BLT on a toasted sourdough bread. They were generous with the thick bacon, and the lettuce and tomato was quite fresh. Hubby ordered the reuben this time and requested extra sauerkraut. Well, if that was extra sauerkraut, they still were skimpy on it. Food was good, and the beer was not flat as other people have mentioned in their reviews. Service was fast in taking the orders, etc., but it did seem to take a long time for the food to come. We most definitely would return our next time in the Dells area.
