We have been vacationing at Chula Vista for years and it just gets better everytime.
The staff has always been friendly and helpful.
We love that it is on the river. You get a feeling that you are away from all the activity and relaxation settles in.
The made to order Omelets are heavenly. A great way to start the day.
Looking forward to a return trip.

Stayed on Memorial Day. I was a little nervous about the stay based on some past reviews but overall we enjoyed it. We stayed in one of the golf villas. There are two buildings next to the golf course and across the road from the main resort. Very nice room and very quiet. One draw back is there is no swimming pool or resturants of any sort there - all swimming and dining is at the main resort. They offer a shuttle service from your building to the main resort - never waited more than a minute for a ride.
The outdoor water parks are severely undersized for the size of the resort. 3-4 smaller water slides and very small pool. I never saw the lazy river. The wave pool is behind the main resort over looking the Wisconsin River - very nice view. The wave pool itself was only about the size of a good sized home pool and only about three feet deep. The indoor water park was very nice - lazy river, 3-4 water slides, kiddie areas and a water roller coaster (my 10 and 7 year old boys loved it).
All of the personnel were great - no issues whatsoever. The only issue we did have was that because attendance was so low, they closed all outdoor activites on Tuesday. Only the indoor park was running. There couldn't have been more than 20 people in the indoor park before we left. As a matter of fact attendance throughout the Wisconsin Dells attractions has been down noticeable (weather?).
We would probably go back ahead but next time know we may have to look off site for more activites.

The service was just wonderful. We stayed at a 3 bedroom condo and it was just amazing. Everything was super clean. Not to mention all the coupons we got for different places. I do recommend it. Such a nice place. Will for sure go back :)

Was here for the weekend with my wife and 3 children. This was our first time at Chula Vista as we normally stay at the Wilderness. Parking was horrible. We ended up parking 3 lots away from our entrance. The parking problems are not exclusive to Chula Vista as the wilderness has issues as well, just not as bad as here. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo which was huge (1500 sq/ft). It was very clean and well decorated and quite affordable with the "May Days" special. Hallways were extremely noisy and there seemed to very little sound proofing in the room. Waterpark was OK, the little kids area was nice and the water slides were good, but not enough tubes in the lazy river and the park in general was not as large as the ones at the Wilderness so it gets full quickly. Hotel offers free wi-fi but it is not much better than dial up for speed, you have to pay extra if you want faster speeds. Overall it was an OK hotel and waterpark but think I will spend the little bit extra next time to go back to the Wilderness.
