“Tucked away treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

This restaurant was a wonderful experience. Tucked away in a marina-setting, be it summer or winter, the view was wonderful. The food eclectic and excellent, and the wait staff competent and friendly. All together a great time.

“Scenic lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

While dining at Pier 290 along side Williams Bay you can watch all the activities on the lake. We were there Memorial weekend....rainy, windy day. On the lake was a lonely wind surfer! Our lunch was delicious....portabella mushroom topped with Brie and shaved onion resting on a brochette. The Bloody Mary's spicy yet not over the edge.
The decor at Pier 290 is nautical. Wonderful vintage Lake Geneva photographs, fire pits, gift shop, as well as outdoor sand pit.
Casual yet elegant dining.

“Our server went the extra mile.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

After a walk down the lake path from Geneva to Williams Bay, we were ready for food and drink - and Pier 290 was great! Awesome location, beautiful building, good food, strong drinks, great service. Our waitress, Angela, was knowledgeable and efficient and personable. Perfect. I had the BBQ sandwich and house made chips - delicious. My husbands grass-fed burger on an English Muffin looked perfect - and disappeared quickly, so I'd guess he liked it.
We sipped beers and sangria as we watched the staff load the boats for the season. It was a great time!! Highly suggest making the trip - but I would say DRIVE there. :)
