We had high hopes based on other reviews, but we had a poor experience with both the food and service. This is a typical hotel bar/restaurant that tries (unsuccessfully) to play itself as mid-level fine dining. The wait staff were less than enthusiastic, and we noticed our waiter was more attentive to a long phone call he was having than to us. One shrimp entree was terrible and fishy-tasting, while a steak entree certainly met the definition of petite with a presentation entirely alone on a large, square plate that would make any chef chuckle. An added surprise was a separately taxed 18 percent gratuity added onto the bill! My wife wanted to complain, but I just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. Every part of our experience was mediocre to poor, but at a premium price. Dine there at your own risk.
