We got this hotel on Priceline on Saturday night September 10. We have stayed here several times in the past and it has always been adequate. This hotel has had a renovation in the past couple of years, but it still leads a lot of work.
First, the hallway reeks of a mangy dog (but the rooms were quite clean). Second, the ice machine (the only one they have for a two-story facility) broke. So, you had to go to the front desk to get ice from the clerk out of a cooler.
We were told that we had two rooms with two double beads in each when we called after Priceline assigned us the hotel. When we checked in, there was only one bed in each room. We went to the clerk, and she was very nice to move us to other rooms even though the hotel was nearly full due to a major art festival that was in town.
Our rooms did not have coffee makers, even though it is piublicized on the web site. So, we had to get coffee in the lobby, and our rooms were assigned at the far far far far end of a very very very very long hallway (see photo attached). The rooms otherwise were OK, a bit small, but this is a one-star facility (although it is listed as two-star on Priceline).
The continental breakfast room is aboiut the size of my father's deer blind. The high speed internet was face, both in the lobby and in our room. Location is good, close to downtown, but under heavy construction during our visit. But, most of Wisconsin was under construction during our vacation! The TV channel selectiom was good.
Overall, this hotel will suit your needs for one night, but I nwould not reccommend coming here for a longer period of time.
