Great place to get a fantastic pizza after a day of exploring the island! We were on Washington Island in late Sept which is the beginning of off-season so when we tried to get pizza when we got off the ferry, they were closed for the night (2 hours before posted closing). However, when we tried again the next afternoon the owner was very friendly and explained it was too costly to keep the stone pizza oven fired up all evening with no customers. (Had a fun lively chat while the pizza was baking). Our pizza was definitely worth the wait and reasonably priced. Large one topping (half sausage/half pepperoni) and 2 drinks for $21.50. Best thin crust pizza I have ever had! We wish we lived closer so we could have it again.
Washington Island is a wonderful place and we are planning a return summer trip in the next couple years.
