This is a small restaurant that is located on a pier jutting into the harbor. We did not make reservations, so we opted to eat at the bar rather than wait the 45-60 minutes for a table. It turned out to be great fun watching them make the drinks and chat with the wait staff as they bounded in and out. The duck in cherry sauce (a Door County riff on Duck L'Orange) was superbly prepared, as was the salmon with vodka-caper sauce. Both preparations were worthy of a top-notch restaurant in a major city. Quite unexpected for Washington Island.. The portions were generous and the service was friendly.
