“Great Dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

Even though we were a bit early for the usual dinner time, we both had a great dinner here. Our waitress was attentive. The wine was good. the food was great. The rolls were very yummy and the butter was soft, a real plus. There is not much of a view as the restaurant is on the main street. The restaurant itself is large but pleasant enough. It was difficult to choose just one dessert, there were quite a few good choices, but the cherry pie was delicious--just chock full of cherries and not overly sweet, one of the best I've ever had !. If you want a good dinner this is the place.

“Tasty breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

Enjoyed the Pecan Belgian waffle with crispy bacon and good hot coffee. The waitress was attentive. The atmosphere was cozy, warm and inviting. My friends enjoyed the Quiche of the day as well as the breakfast croissant sandwich and both thought they were good. Every time I'm in Sturgeon Bay I make it a point to stop here. Thumbs up, again!

Stopped in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Soup and sandwiches were tasty, and the chocolate pie was outstanding!

“Beautifull place, great for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

Great place for a good lunch. Best bread and rolls in town. Good food for a fair price. Nice setting for a dinner out with someone special.

“Very Good Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

Our family went here for an early Easter breakfast. We've had very good and not-so-good experiences here- we've been here between 5-10 times. Today was very good. I had The Inn at CC Hash Browns at $8.95. They were cheesy and not oversalty. I like to sit in the larger dining area with the stamped metal roof and wood trims. Nice atmosphere and quiet. I come from out East, where dining rooms do not have bars in them. Son had Cherry pancakes with plenty of whole cherries and husband had French toast. Food was all very good, but coffee just OK in my opinion.
Host is not bubbly-may have been the owner. Son said no eye contact with server and he perceived her as unfriendly but I did not. Service was good not fabulous but just fine, really-this is breakfast and everything was noneventful and we had no special requests. I think they are best at breakfast and lunch-so/so at dinner quality-but it's been some time since we had dinner here. The bakery is made on site and is artisan quality IMO but I was too full to consider a "to-go" piece today. I hope to return and would recommend this restaurant to anyone but the crowd tends to be older (couples or families with middle age kids) and perhaps not as tolerant of really young kids, esp for dinner when people want romance.
