Description: Hilltop Pub & Grill is a unique restaurant in Stevens Point, WI. We have a wide variety of food choices from burgers and fish frys to salads, steaks & wraps. A great atmosphere, with 6 HDTV's and 20 tap beers in our front "keg room" and a nice casual dining room in back. We can accommodate the business lunch meeting as well as a family or team in town for a sporting event. You can also enjoy our outdoor decks when the weather is nice.

“Good food, decent prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

We just ate here quickly for lunch. We were staying next-door at the La Quinta so we walked right over. Prices seemed decent and the decor and service was nice. No complaints :)

“Interesting Place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

The decor of this place is interesting, but the food was just OK. The menu was varied, and offered something for everyone, but nothing was spectacular. Pretty sure the fish fry was of the frozen variety, since the pieces were all the same shape and size. The menu called it their "famous fish fry" but we were left wondering how it became famous. This is Wisconsin, land of a million fish fries. This one could be a lot better. Others enjoyed the sandwiches/wraps they ordered.

The best part of our visit was the willingness of the staff to take on a group of 25 of us at almost 9:00 at night. They allowed our teens to sit together and coordinated their orders with their parents' orders by jersey number (softball team trip). Orders came out correctly, quickly and separate tickets made it very easy for parents. Truly appreciated when you have a large group.

“Excellent Food/Great Atmosphere”

Excellent food, moderately priced, and nice variety of options. Open Face Prime Rib was yummy. Raspberry Cheesecake to die for.

“doesn't live up to the hype”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

My family and I went here for a late lunch/early dinner and I figured we would be in for a nice time given all the great reviews this place has gotten. I can sum up our experience in one sentence; overpriced, nothing fresh, run of the mill and nothing special. For the three of us we spent $65 for two apps, two ribeye steak and one of their "famous" chicken cordon bleu dinners. Everything tasted like it was fresh from the freezer, the chicken while not burned itself had been cooked on a spot on the grill where whatever had been on there before it had been burnt. The steaks were poor at best and the sides were obviously from a box or the freezer. The decor is claustrophobic, dark and dated.

I will admit that their beer battered fries were tasty. Hit this spot if you want an overpriced beer/drink with some overprice run of the mill frozen apps.
