We stayed one night at the Usonian Inn on our visit to Taliesin. It is a roadside motel, with all the charm. Our room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the architecture as it was designed by one of Frank Lloyd Wright's students. It was the perfect choice to enjoy the beauty of the area.

My two friends and I stayed here during our visit to Taliesin. The place is charming, immaculately clean and great value for the money. The owner Caroline is lovely and really cares about her guests' comfort. We had three adjacent rooms and sat outside one of them drinking wine as the sun set. This place is not elegant but very comfortable and functional.

This was one stop on a bicycling trip with a group of 13 friends. What a find. Totally green. Luxury bedding. Immaculate in every way. Dramatic updated bathrooms with elegant chrome fixtures throughout. Upscale trendy body shower. Freshly ground and brewed coffee in the morning. Imported wines and beers available to buy in the office. We all enjoyed our stay. A lot of work has gone into this place and it shows.

We enjoyed our three day stay at the Usonian. The rooms are nicely appointed and updated, and the windows face to the back of the building looking out toward a cornfield and away from the road and parking lot. It was nice to be able to park right in front of your room and have no stairs. The highway is a hundred feet away or so, but there is not a lot traffic and it nearly stops by evening and on weekends. I am a light sleeper but the sound from the road never woke me up. Carolina the manager is very nice and provides a high level of service. The bathrooms have modern fixtures and there was plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and long (I am 6'3"). You are not far from several interesting area attractions including Taliesin, an outdoor theater, House on the Rock, state parks, and several charming small towns. I could find no fault with the Usonian Inn and would go back there again.
