It's interesting to read all of the reviews for this bakery/restaurant. They certainly are varied. We went there for lunch, and decided that we'd just have their soup. It was fabulous soup - really some of the best - but oddly they don't give you bread with the soup. And yet we were sitting just a few feet away from their bakery! The soup was $10 which is pretty high for just a bowl of soup. Fortunately, they had some bread samples out so we could at least try it. And it was fabulous! They make these huge loafs of bread and sell them by the pound. I asked how much a whole loaf would cost, and I was told that generally they are about $40-$50.
We were there during the off-season, and they do sell their baked goods for a reduced rate on Mondays (they are closed Tues and Wed). We took advantage of that, and stopped on Monday to buy what we wanted.
I believe I read that they no longer serve sushi.
