My husband and I took the 2 hr fall foliage tour on Oct. 23rd. Admittingly, probably not as many fall colors as I was expecting, but that's up to Mother Nature.
We found the cruise to be a good value. You are allowed to bring on snacks and beverages if you like. There is limited seating outside, which at first we were dissappointed to be inside, but considering it did get a little chilly we were happy to be inside. And the views from inside are just as great.
Capt. Jack was very easy going and a great tour guide. We enjoyed hearing some of the history of the area. We also enjoyed the wildlife info. We were able to see several bald eagles, eagle's nests, and some muskrat. It was a nice leisurely tour of the backwaters and I never felt like it was rushed. He'd slow down if we saw another eagle so we could all get a good view.
I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area, of course during the right season!
