“pretty good seafood at a low price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

Everytime I've been there it has been good. We've been going there for years. Low prices and decent seafood.

“Better come early!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

Great food, but you better come early (no reservations) because it gets busy! Me and the wife showed up on a Friday night at 4:15 and still had an hour wait, but it was definitely worth it! Great atmosphere, bar & food. Can't wait to go back again!

“Awesome! Must go!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012 via mobile

My husband and I were looking for a good place for steak and seafood while taking a short honeymoon in the dells. After reading several reviews of places we decided to go to cimarolis. We got there a lil after 7 on a Sunday and was not busy at all. We got onion loaf for appetizer and it was great! We ordered ribeye and added shrimp for only $2.95! It was great! I got tenderloin and added on a 5oz lobster tail for only 15$!! I'd have to say it was one of the best meals I've ever had! Drinks were cheap and food was excellent and so was our server Cheryl.

“Great food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

I will tell you that this place fills up and expect a wait, even later at night. This should tell something right there about the quality of the food. My wife and I both had the prime rib and actually got the last two pieces for the night. Most places when you get the last two pieces you can expect it to be a little over cooked but not here. It was still rare and was excellent. We also had the Onion Loaf as an appetizer and it also was very well done. You can tell that this places does not cut corners and makes everything from scratch. Even the bar staff makes everything from scratch like old fashions. Most places use a mix for old fashions not this place, they ground the bitters and sugar right in the glass.

I really can't say enough good about this place. Not a place to go if you are in a hurry as you will have a wait but it is well worth the wait.

“Always a crowd”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

Follow the crowd is often the way to fine a great restaurant. This is the case with Cimaroli's. Located out in the country, there is ALWAYS a crowd. The bar is packed from 5:00 PM on with friendly patrons waiting for tables. Drinks are good and inexpensive, while the service is slow. $2.50 Old Fashions. The food is very good, served hot and fast. The rooms are a little crowded with a few more tables than the room was built for. And the overall sound level is a roar at best. It is hard to hear your conversation. A little acoustic work would go a long way to really make this place a gem.
