i have ordered from johns since i moved to port 9 years ago, and the pizza was always great. my girlfriend and i ordered some "customize your own turnover" on sunday took a walk with the dogs and picked them up. we got home and put them in the oven to keep warm and started eating them a while later, after cutting in to them we got american cheese which we specifically asked not to have in them thus customize your own which you pay extra for. after calling back we were recieved by an angry manager who said we waited to long to eat the turnovers, all we wanted was the correct item that we paid $32 for with tip. later josh showed up at my door with $14.90, i showed him the turnovers and was told the owner would be in tuesday or wednesday, we called on tuesday and got the same loud and angry "manager" who said we recieved a $19.90 credit and hung up on my girlfriends phonecall. maybe her 16 years in the business is to long, the pizzas are still in my fridge if anyone cares. lots of pizza places around. tough business to run when you lose long time customers. i have been in the restaurant business for 30 years and the customer is not always right but you try to make them happy and not lose them and you definetly are not rude to them. i clicked terrible on atmosphere because i have been in the restaurant and heard an angry lady in the back swearing and loving her job, didnt think it was professional but still liked the pizzas in the past.
