“Not bad for a one night stay, would skip breakfast though!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2012

Positive was free internet, not even a password needed, good strength on the wireless so no problems connecting with both cellphone and laptop. Room was nice size and clean.

Negative aspect were the staff which were not very knowledgeable regarding the area. Also the breakfast... I would not eat there again :p They even could not get the waffles right.

Room Tip: If you have stuff you need bringing up... don't get a room at the third floor! No elevators!

Carpets are stained very badly - do not walk barefoot - feels like a film of grease buildup. You have to put a key card in the wall light to get the air conditioning to work???? Just a quick place to stay for a night but should have looked for another place to stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights beginning of June. Big mistake.
Outside of building and parking lot are fine but the interior is in bad shape and smells of smoke. The sign said they are smoke free hotel but years of smoking in this place and old, stained carpeting still smell of smoke.
First room was in terrible shape with broken furniture and remote, 20 year old Zenith TV, air conditioner had openings to outside for bugs to crawl through and the room smelled. I called the front desk and got moved to another room that didn't smell and the AC unit was okay but had broken furniture, stained carpeting, many holes in the bedspread. I left my clothes in the suitcase to avoid getting bugs in them,
This is the cheapest place around Kenosha for good reason. Also, you can save another $5 if you write a favorable review. If you want to know who got the $5, read the favorable reviews on Tripadvisor. I would need at least $20 to write a favorable review.

Room Tip: If you must stay here, sleep in your car and use the room to go to the bathroom.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Room was clean, everything was great. During our last stay we had some issue with the room cleanliness and things not working. This stay was much better. The hotel is being redone some, so there was a little bit of tape in places where they must have been working on some stuff.

Room Tip: Heard that the televisions on the first and second floors are newer than the ones on the third floor...

I saw painting being done when I checked in but it is VERY apparent they have not got to the third floor yet. My room had patches on the walls that weren't the same wall color. Never did figure out the thermistat for the room; either it stayed too hot or got too cold. Bathroom had black mold on the walls and shower edges. The room was dusty and had cigerette burns on the TV set. The bedding and drapes were noticably old. I thought the price was high when compared with some of the places I have stayed in recently. Only thing nice about it was the front desk staff. Good thing I was exhasted or I might have gone looking for somewhere else to stay

Room Tip: First floor only but they are more expensive.

My family had made reservations online a week before and had read some of the reviews for this hotel and some were good and some were bad. We decided that the reviews would be no reperesentation of what the hotel looked like. We were wrong. As we rolled up, people were smoking on the front steps. It looked kind of shady, but we walked in and the receptionist, Trudy was very nice and we though this would be a good expierence. We had reserved a non smoking room, the first thing we noticed when we walked into our room is was the ash tray on the table and the smell of smoke in the air. The carpet was stained, the tub was dirty, and the room had been smoked in. We requested another room, and Trudy was more than happy to put us in a room, but the thermostat was broke, and the other room smelled like smoke. We then decided to cancel our room and find another hotel. As I walked out, there was a sign hanging next to the window offering a five dollar discount to anyone who wrote a good review. This placeace felt like a prison, but a prison would have been cleaner

We stopped at the Super 8 Kenosha / Pleasant Prairie late in the evening.
The clerk was very friendly and helpful. Intially they placed us in a room that had a running toilet, but immediately corrected this for us. Even though we were just off the interstate, the room was very quiet.
