Nicole and Scott made us so welcome, they truly cared that our overnight experience went well.
Their home is beautiful: the original and restored/replicated by Scott woodwork, hardwood floors and decor are warm, welcoming, exquisite. The private bath in each room is cleverly integrated and the rooms are a nice size. The food was phenomenal, including a homemade apple pie for evening dessert which Scott picked the apples for. We really enjoy staying at bed and breakfasts and this was the best of the almost 30 B&Bs we have stayed at over the years. We enjoyed the neighborhood and large city park nearby. We so appreciated their restaurant recommendation and that Nicole made a reservation for us as it was quite busy. Will definitely have to go back.

i stayed at brayton for my film premiere of "don't go to the reunion" at the oshkosh horror film festival. I needed a place close by that i could escape to for some moments of solitude in the craziness of the festival's three days- brayton exceeeded all my expectations! The house was gorgeous, the cheese and wine was delicious on our first welcome night, the breakfast was amazing, and the new friendships i made will there will last a lifetime. I am a seriously picky guest due to the sheer number of homes/hotels/b&bs i've stayed at for my job over the years....and this was by far on one my favorite experiences. I intend to come back to work on another script-i liked it so much. The only think i would like in the future...is for nicole to realize what a complete lush i am....and to stock up on that delicious cheese and wine i loved...so i don't have to share with the other guest next time! ;) i am dead serious about this- stephanie leigh rose

We only ever passed through Oshkosh before coming to this B&B & we definitely have a new appreciation for the town.

The Brayton B & B is located within a few blocks of Main St, yet it was quiet & comfortable. The location was perfect walking distance to restaurants & the wonderful Farmers Market on Saturdays. We loved biking the Wiowash bike trail. It was just a few blocks away and was a beautiful ride along the river & into the country.

Nicole was such a welcoming & gracious host. She immediately made us feel at ease & at home. Her food was honestly the best food we've ever had @ a B&B - and we've been to quite a few B&B's!

We would definitely return.

This was our 2nd stay at this delightful B&B - 4 nights in 2009 and 3 nights this August. The location is a block from downtown and the Saturday Farmer's Market, which was lots of fun. Nicole & Scott are charming hosts - Nicole's breakfasts are to die for and Scott went out of his way during this trip to assist us in a family matter. The Braytons go beyond the normal B&B owners to make your stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible. We have recommended this get-away to friends and family and they have not been disappointed. This is a very special place and we hope to return some day soon.

Stayed here for a 2 night wedding anniversary getaway with my wife. The owners, Nicole and Scott, made us feel very welcome and were fun to talk to. The property is gorgeous with some very nice indoor and outdoor areas to relax. Great location, walking distance to downtown restaurants and bars. We stayed in the Blue Room which was very nicely decorated.

Breakfasts and baked goodies by Nicole were excellent.

They also have a pontoon boat rental available which is discounted if you stay at the B&B. We rented it one of the days and it was a blast!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Blue Room. It was great, but with a quirky bathroom setup. The shower, toilet and s...

This is the way to do the EAA Airventure in style.

They're just the best. I could go on and on about the cozy rooms, the quiet setting, the breakfast service -- but the personal care given by Nicole and Scott is what really makes this place special.
