“Lecture Series Home Run”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2015

Recently attended a lecture on "The Spirit of St.Louis" that was very informative and free. The Museum puts on lectures every month from Sept thru May that start at 7 and include the chance to get up close and personal with airplanes that are usually behind a rope.

“Awesome Museum with outstanding collection!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2015

The Airventure Museum is the definitive aviation museum. They've got something for everyone from airplane nuts to people who don't know thing one about airplanes- even younger kids. The size of the facility and volume of the collection is truly worth the ticket prices. Getting right up next to some of histories great airplanes is an experience that shouldn't be missed.

“Scout Visit and Sleepover”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2015

Our Cub Scout Pack took a chaperoned trip to the EAA AirVenture Museum this weekend. Approximately 40 kids and parents spent an evening and following morning in the museum. Guides and docents did an excellent job with our scouts, illustrating the great history of the EAA and flight. From hands-on exhibits, flight simulators, guided tours and inspiring exhibits of flight and experimental aircraft (and the warbirds) we had an awesome time. Our kids got hands on craft and the staff did a great job with our young boys. While having visited the EAA many years ago - this was my family's first visit to the museum. This will be a regular stop for my kids as they were awed by the museum and aircraft displays.

“Great for a family adventure”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2015

This is a great place for the whole family, or the aviation buff. We went here plenty of times as a child, but also with school. There is some great exhibits and history behind them, but for awhile there were no new exhibits so we stopped going. Recently they have added some items of which will draw us back in. I always look forward to spring when they open their old time airport where kids can get a free plane ride with reservation.

“EAA AirVenture - the best of its kind”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2015

An amazing place for aviation buffs. Don't miss it if you are in Northeast Wisconsin. Not as big as the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum, but of the same quality
